Well... no-one in the public thought back in the 80s that the EU would be today what it is... people always put it off "nah... that won't happen" "hehehe.. .yeah sure, no-one will stand for this"

But here we are.

An EU army is something not to be taken lightly, because it would in many ways cement the concept of unity together. We don't even need a common enemy. They just need to sneak It past us.

After the army, they will press on with a common law to bind us completely together.
This would be good if the EU worked, but it doesn't. If the EU worked there would be NO internal migration... if all premises were the same no matter where, people wouldn't want to move. They would stay close to home.

But looking at major construction projects in the rich EU countries, we see that the main slave workforce is Eastern European. To many this is the definitive proof that EU does not work and never will.
So they root for the alternative... that EU will cease to exist. Because with more closed borders, the employers of said projects willl once again have to look to local people and pay the wage they demand instead of the social dumping wages they are paying the Eastern Europeans now.

So... build an army and we will have a harder time saying no to the deplorable conditions.

I hope they dont though.... :S

Precisely.

There are too many negative connotations to such thing. One does not protect dysfunctional structures. One breaks them down to nothing and begins again, if one has any merit whatsoever to ones logical process.

In reality, it´s the middle class and family biz in the construction sector that heavy relies on said easter europe workforce. At first, when the borders fell in 2002 (?) there was an inrush of construction workes (formally, cooks, baker, butchers) who then worked subcontracts for middle class companies (10-100 employe). there´s always one who takes things into his hands then and founds a own company, now, getting the subcontracts and employing his fellow mates.

Groups of 2-3 persons over time aquire up to 10 people and then they start a company, employing those and subcontracting. From then on, they´re certified here and there and now can get contracts in bigger undergoings like stadium, skyscrapers, hospitals and so on.

He is (she) not (him) and where did you get those (facts) if may I ask…? Zerohedges lost its credibility long time ago…I

These are in fact.... facts.... it created quite a buzz in the Norwegian media, but for some reason it didn't make it that far out into the world stage. Probably because of the election in the US.

Ironically this could even more so have affect Clinton negatively.

The number is correct.... I think it was actually a bit higher than mentioned. In total Norway has donated around 1 billion norwegian crowns to the corrupt Clintons.

Why is it a problem? Because by donating to the Clintons, you aren't really doing charity work..... why? Because the Clinton foundation actually only puts around 10% into actual charity. The rest, 90%, goes into saleries, travel expenses, bonus etc.

So LITTERALLY, you are paying for the daily lives of the Clintons.

But what does that give you?

You get the politcal influence of the Clintons, which can ensure that you end up as head of NATO. And of course, Stoltenberg being a loyal social democrat, is more eager to please than doing what is right. He's a political career idiot.
That also makes him perfect in the seat at NATO, because he can be bossed around... quite the same as my formed prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who also did the bidding of the elites when he was head of NATO.

Minsk agreements' implementation as part of Merkel's election campaign

Rapidly changing international situation, the change of Washington's Administration and forthcoming elections in European countries make European politicians commit controversial and sometimes even illogical acts.

In November, 2016 Angela Merkel announced her intention to run for a fourth term as German Chancellor. But in 2017, it is to be the hardest thing for her. The main cause of it is the failed foreign policy of Germany, a failure to adequately respond to modern challenges and threats without reference to the wishes of Washington, which now, under President Trump, ceases to be a voluntary guide dog for European NATO allies. All these factors have led to aggravation of the internal political situation in the country, identifying vulnerabilities of German security in the face of internal and external threats. Due to policy of multiculturalism, migration crisis has jeopardized credibility of the Chancellor and her team while the split in Europe and long-running Ukrainian conflict are only exacerbating the CDU electoral problems.

Owing to the outlined difficulties, Merkel's team has to find ways to restore its faltering influence. And if it is a good idea to avoid the topic of migrants till the election (it may turn out badly), the Ukrainian issue possible solution within the framework of the Minsk agreements that has actually been widely publicized and perceived as Merkel's achievement, can be used for earning political points inside Germany. Such peacemaker's position is rather advantageous for Merkel. In case her 'recipe' helps agreements to get reached and the long-awaited peace is declared in the east of Ukraine, this could be the acting Chancellor's best card in the election.

Ukrainian information resources have got a line that the German Embassy in Kiev is already sending signals to Petro Poroshenko that it is necessary to reach compromises with pro-Russian activists from Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts of Ukraine. As to Ambassador Ernst Reichel's letter to Poroshenko, it is seen exactly as an ultimatum.

Translation of the letter

'Dear Mr. President Poroshenko,

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine has the honor to inform you that Germany is abiding by the assumed commitments and will further lend assistance to Ukraine.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regrets to state that Ukraine does not comply with the Second Minsk Agreement provisions, which harms German Federal Government's reputation not only on an international scale, but also at home. In the light of the foregoing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany recommends Ukraine to implement the commitments confirmed by the Second Minsk Agreement, namely, adoption of regulations relating to the special status of separate territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, the pull-out of forces and military equipment, and advancement of dialogue with representatives of separate territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.

The Government of Germany realizes that such steps may create a considerable stir among statesmen and the general public of Ukraine. Nevertheless, peaceful settlement of the conflict remains a priority. For this reason, some restrictions on rights and freedoms are occasionally permissible. In the case of successfully implemented settlement of the conflict, the Federal Government of Germany guarantees you political and financial support during upcoming presidential elections.

Respectfully yours,

Ernst Reichel'

If you put it in simple words skipping the diplomatic etiquette, the Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, speaking on behalf of Angela Merkel, demands from Ukraine full compliance with the provisions of the Minsk agreements. One question immediately comes to mind: why has such claim been received just now, in the run-up to the Bundestag elections, rather than immediately following the signing of agreements in February, 2015? What have German authorities been waiting for for almost two years? The answer is simple: they have been waiting for an appropriate moment to present Ukrainian conflict settlement as their biggest geopolitical victory. And the Ukrainian President will get political and financial support during the next presidential elections in Ukraine in exchange for peaceful settlement of the conflict, while otherwise he could never win the elections on his own, taking into account his absolutely lame rating.

The Merkel's Peace Initiative would have been highly commendable if it had been timely and aimed at realization of peace and order in Europe. In this particular case, because of catastrophically losing its reputation, the government will try to 'feed' own voters its so-called diplomatic victory, not telling them that actual support of the hugely unpopular president Poroshenko means conservation of the Ukrainian crisis for the sake of solving their own short-term problems. Such long-overdue implementation of Minsk agreements will not solve the problems of Ukraine. There have been too many losses. The split between the eastern and western part of the country has become too great. But does the Chancellor of Germany really care about Ukrainians, considering that migrants' assaults against Germans are disturbing her much less than her quite expectable retirement?

Is this the only source you have? I looked around and found nothing. But it would fit to what they did with medical MJ here in Germany. The drugministerette (who has ties into the alcohol industry, father produces hops for beer), held back a law that would finally allow Doctors to prescribe medical MJ. For over 15 months, it was laying around, signed in her drawer, ready to be implemented but she decided to let thousands of ill people with MS and the likes suffer in pain.

She´s as sly as HRC and I can´t fathom that she got that job just because the ministry of agrar culture was already taken by someone else. It´s so stupid and disgusting at the same time. The question "why is MJ illegal?" is answered by here "it´s illegal because it´ illegal", while her family reeks in the big money with alcohol.

If you ask her about portugal, she has not even a clue what to respond. If you ask her about all the alcohol ads in public, she has no opinion on it, but is hard on supressing tobacco and MJ. She said, she knows what´s best for us all and not to question her.

Those kind of people rule germany and many of those were installed by our current regime, under the eyes of Merkel. Totally incompetent in their job.

There will be no EU army. Plenty of countries are against it. Also it would duplicate NATO.

"The world" (as the term is used in the bible to refer to a specific type of people) is the greatest threat to world peace in 2017. Or one could talk about "this system of things" and "the spirit of the world" that describes the attitudes and ways of thinking and acting of "the world".

Some people in this world are no part of "the world" with that sense, they are not guided by the spirit of the world.

John 17:15-17 (Jesus speaking about Jehovah's word, the bible, a book overlooked by all political leaders and idealists when it comes to the subject of "world peace" which is a small demonstration of the effects of the spirit of the world and this system of things):

“I do not request that you take them out of the world, but that you watch over them because of the wicked one. 16 They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world. 17 Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth.

EU's army cannot exist because the EU is not a state, as it has no border. Therefore it cannot have an army. What it has had until now is not an EU army, it is an oligarchs' bankers' army at their service.

Besides the correctness suggested by the title of this thread, the EU is also in no place to actually create such army, or a joint operation command or anything of the sort. This seems like a last attempt at forcing through a giant tower of babel, or another burocracy. EU command is something that does not make any sense unless NATO is disbanded, even if the EU were to survive as a union.
