That would depend on the aircraft...
Say it was an extraterrestrial craft or even a secret craft from earth with technology that charged or supercooled the air around it... Well then the effects could very well be like those demonstrated here...
Whatever was struck was not on a power line... Not on the hillside... Not a bird...
It attempts to gain altitude two times after failure was recognized... Sign of intelligent control... The smoke does not appear to be from fire so much as a failed propulsion system...
Ateast that's what I see...

We can see enough to know it wasnt taken in France in the middle of a cold, snowy, winter

Lightning doesnt affect anything that gets hit in the air, It needs to go to ground to have any effect, Ordinary airplanes are hit daily with zero problems, Im not sure what happened in this video but a UFO or any metal object in the air would be unaffected.

Yes, but a drone's electrics would be blown and we would see the same effect. It's a drone being hit and spiralling beyond yonder.

We know it wasn't taken in France in the past few days, it doesn't mean it's not in France. Despite this, it's still an interesting video and deserves some scrutiny...

So you can tell us what it is then? If you can't then it is still classed as an Unidentified Flying Object!!! People need to stop thinking UFO means Alien Spacecraft...

Seems like the strike was pretty far, yet the sound was rather instant.

Sound experts out there, was the strike really that close for the sound to reach them that quickly?

I'd expect at least half a second before it would hit them, but in the video it's instant

Can you identify the flying object?
If you can't it will remain a ufo

Anything under a mile away from a lighting strike the sound of thunder after visualizing the lightning is virtually instant... For every thing over a mile the delay to hear thunder is a second per mile...

France is a large country you know. What makes you say this wasn't filmed on the 16th of January? I'm not 100% sure myself, but can you explain why you assume France is covered in snow these days? Never been to the south I assume...
