Don't you think it's irrational to believe that one should always be happy? Especially with life circumstances like financial strains, recent death of a loved one, marriage etc?

I've gotta agree with Phage, you need to re-evaluate your self determined opinions on what depression actually is, and how it effects millions of people.

Although, now that Trump is in, I'm fairly sure the statistics will decrease and level out.

You got to remember that Big Pharma is a multi-billion dollar industry. They're not going to let nay-sayers say that mental illness doesn't exist because they simply make too much money from it.

If anything you're going to be re-enforced to believe it exists because the classes and group therapies are designed to make you feel that way.

The doctors/behavioral health specialists are basically hypnotically suggesting you have a mental illness which often makes the person hypocondriac: "I DO have a mental illness. I NEED my medicine etc."

My advise, go along with the program but don't fall for their nonsense. Get discharged and STAY OUT of those places!

You actually bring up a good point. Oil lobbyists have monopolized the energy sector for DECADES.

Thanks to them they've put a halt to a lot of alternative energy production. Many of our wars are a direct consequence of oil.

In order to make this statement, you have to define what mental illness would mean. If you can't provide a definition for what you are saying does not exist, you are not actually saying anything, so this is a necessary starting point.

No. Not really. Alternates are becoming more and more competitive in spite of the efforts of Oil to stifle them. So Oil profits may drop a bit but it will still be in the trillions.

But my point was that you seemed to find fault in profit. Without profit alternative energy sources would not exist. They do, and they are growing.

There's nothing wrong with HONEST profit. Except for the green house gasses that oil emits, I'm actually not totally against oil. I understand that they are necessary for transportation. However I don't like how the politicians design wars to exploit other countries for their oil (Middle East, Libya.)

Many of our wars revolved around oil which is messed up.

Seeing that emerging alternative energy is becoming more standard we might be heading into a much better quality of life. Fossil fuels are on it's last legs. Third and fourth industrial revolutions are on it's way.

Oil isn't bad, it's the procurement and stifling of markets that has become criminal. Oil lobbyists have suppressed alternative energy for quite a while now but thankfully that is starting to change.

As for the mental illness MYTH there is plenty of evidence proving it doesn't exist. I'm sorry you're not intelligent enough to see that. Or are you another paid shill?
