Looks like the referendum results will be respected. A giant kick in the nuts to the global agenda.

www.bbc.co.uk...

Negotiations are set to begin after notice under Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty is served by the end of March.

Labour warned of "enormous dangers" in the prime minister's plans.

Oh I'm a fan, it's a shame but De Gaulle was right all along.
The UK have never fit in nor really wanted to so it's probably best they do leave.

Well, for a start it means the death of the United Kingdom. Scotland wants access to the Single Market and if the SNP Government doesn't get what it wants then it's going to push for another vote for independence.
Then there's the little issue of the border between Northern Island and Ireland, which is going to need a lot of customs posts.
Oh and there's a teeny issue of needing to negotiate a LOT of free trade agreements to make up for the loss of access to the Single Market.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating , I hope May means what she says but she's a politician so take nothing on face value.

I hope Theresa May makes Britain Great again , time will tell.

Ah don't be sorry, I feel like a prick now and sorry back, just the other thread is flowing well and I'd love to see us Brits debating in the same place about today's news, not fragmented.

We'll be fine.
Whilst we're negotiating bi-lateral deals across the world, the rest of the EU will still be fighting about how the latest trade proposals effect waiters in Malta or the plight of the endangered crop fungi in Italy.

Enjoy the rotting corpse of the EU.

De Gaulle was spot on, as was Churchill when he said, "we are with Europe, but not of it."
