Maybe "Mad Dog" Mattis chewing a Dog Bone with a little bit of reverb.

I love the smell of fake news in the morning!

I tried to start a rumour that the Rolling Stones would be coming in to play "Honky-tonk Women".
For some reason, even the fake news outlets haven't picked up on it yet.

Toby Keith for one. And according to that article also 3 Doors Down and Lee Greenwood.

Wow! He must have lured away an entire hillbilly county fair lineup to get that group of has-beens.

Do they come and do the show for free? Or do our tax dollars pay for this tomfoolery?

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir (sans at least one member) and the Rockettes.

I think there's a difference between "who's onstage" and "who's in the parade. There are a few high school bands, but I think that's just for the parade.

"Bikers for Trump" were calling for donations to set up a soundstage... so they may be staging some sort of concert but not as part of the actual ceremony.

The American public foots the bill for this.

I heard this year they were changing the venue and it was only going to have performers that actually care about America and don't look down on her citizens.

It's proving more difficult than they thought to fill the spots.

It'll all work out though.

Surely Putin can fill in a slot?

Well, Thank goodness it is toned down! Personally, I agree with others, that I would rather the President have a more official simple ceremony and leave the entertainment celebrations off of the tax payers dime.

Inauguration entertainment is a bulls# waste of taxpayer money, there's no reason for us to pay for concerts for a swearing in of anyone. It should be left up to civilian donations only. Taxpayers fund half the money source right now and I do NOT agree with it because there's no outright need for entertainment at an inauguration.

Music to my ears would be the sound made by a firing squad on a line up of the Clinton, Soros, Obama treasonous Cabal

No need for a trial, or any finding of guilt - just lynch them!

Why not let the President Elect perform, himself?

Whoa..Kurt Russell, Goldie, Sharon Stone ?...is that a CGI or spliced in audience or are they really there cheering for Putin ?
Surely some of these celebrities are Liberals ?...if so how does that work or all come together?
Actually that was a charming video either way.

Add 3 Doors Down and Lee Greenwood to the list.

Personally, I don't care if the Salvation Army Band is the top billed performer. I'd rather have people that love our country perform than some big name celebrities afraid to lose their socialists fans.

I heard the Bikers would be providing some half time entertainment.

I honestly don't know if this thread/article is aiming at trying to strike a nerve with Trump supporters or trying make Hillary losers feel better about losing

You truly believe we will be upset over a lack of "known artists"? I don't think even the Rolling Stone is this ignorant to reality. Probably trying to convince their fellow loser-supporting fans that "Look, NOBODY's coming, we are on the right side of history".

Don't worry you guys. It's going to be hard (HAHAHA not really) but we will manage to somehow make it through without Beyonce shoving crappy tunes into our ears.

Just for the left he should have the Marine Corp Band play The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme) as he proceeds to the inauguration platform.

BWA HAaaa. Thanks Bramble.
I just got word on O'Really Sam Moore will be there. Right after
the Empire Strikes Out, I'd like to hear him solo a "Hold On,
He's Comin' ". Or better yet, "I'm a Sold Man". ROFL God I can't help it.

Loved those guys, I AM that old. Great band too, mostly RIP now.
And the Marines doing anything John Williams made the goosebumps
on my leg turn into welts. CHRIS! HELP MEeee. not.

I was saying before, if Pearl Jam wasn't touring, Vedder's a Cubs fan.
He'd probably do it gratis.

There was this final Saturday night at the Frontier Inn. Closing forever.
In between sets, Pat was fine tuning the Rhodes piano-- (by nudging the
weights on the ferritic tines up/back a little for pitch).
I think he was approx. halfway done when Lenny came in with his freshly
rebuilt Sporty (engine.. ooohbaby 12:1's and a really good cam too) and
did a nice long 8000 RPM burnout against the bandstand wall... yup,
right in front of the piano.
We were all deaf and more than a little sauced: almost everybody was
crying, but instead of the smoke: I WAS because of the sound of that
damned motor. Some things are just perfect... now that's entertainment.

1: I honestly did not know that it was a big production.

2: Why are we wasting so much money on making it a big production?

3: I really wish we would stop pissing away that much money and resources and instead return it to what it was originally, some music covering the important parts, speeches from the President and Vice president and then lets get to work.
