As best I can tell the Trump Administration's definition of "Good" media is any outlet that never publishes anything negative about him..Like his Senior Counselor's outlet Briebart or his close friend and campaigner Alex Jones.

Who do you mean by "we" exactly? You're not even saying what the poster I was replying to was saying so the idea of a consensus seems a bit dubious. Yes, there has been a lot of consolidation of the media. As I said, I'm all for giving smaller outlets access.

What I am against and you should be against as well is a government attack on the media. It's ironic that as a private citizen, if I track a dozen known fabricated stories and report back to the community with a list of sites that republished straight up hoaxes (with links), fake news addicts pile on the bulls# about freedom of the press. Many of the same people who are opposed to me pointing out objective reality, easily corroborated independently, are also for an incoming administration banning media outlets that are critical while promoting outlets that suck up to them.

You can try to make it about "megaconglomerates" if you want but it's really about government weilding undue influence over the media. Trump isn't motivated by a desire to diversify media ownership, he's attempting to strong arm the media to silence critical voices.

Great news!
The Fake News MSM is on it's last legs any way, and it's time for other outlets to step into their shoes and take journalism back to solid ground once again. This can only be good for America. For far too long, the lying MSM has polluted - and continues to pollute - the public discourse in this country. CNN, ABC, Huff Po and others need to become another footnote in history.

So the MSM has not already been a huge disaster all ready? Remember the polls telling you until the very last moments 90% hillary and 10 for trump until they had absolutely no choice anymore and all of a sudden the entire MSM every had polls showing the opposite?

People have been dropping the MSM i mass and turned to alt media because it is far more reliable, no contest.

Equally scary is how the media as we know it is quickly being gobbled up by huge corporate machines and it becomes easier for them to set their own political bias which rolls downhill to the smaller outlets. Remember the emails revealing the Clinton influences of which compromised media reporting? Isn't that essentially the same as "government control" over the media?

This is great. Give them front row and make CNN stand in the back, way in the back.

Just another great move by the Trump administration.
The elite little club the media had created needs to be dismantled. Real media needs to replace the propaganda machines.
That is how real people will be properly represented.

I love it. Put the MSM media in their place and allow those willing to do the job replace them. Alternative news is getting to be the only place to get actual news.

So apparently, CNN is fake news. MSNBC, when they criticize Donald will be fake news, and soon FOX will be fake news as well. Washington Post has joined the list, The Journal and Huffington.

Those are the three main media outlets, with many smaller networks working for them. Now, if that umbrella of news outlets are promoting fake news, and the one online outlet (TYT) is now being called fake news.

Please, do me the honor and list all the American news sources that are not fake news, in YOUR opinion. A full list. I have extended this offer to every Trump supporter, from YouTube videos, to alt-right websites, and I have yet to see a list.

Why don't I see a list? Because fake news is based on whether that news organization criticizes or praises Donald. It has nothing to do with the quality of news, but rather protecting the ego not only of the cult personality you call Donald, but the reality of his brainwashed victims.

That's why they can not list them. In reality, they will never know until that news organization takes a firm stance on Donald's policies. If they are exposing his lies, or promoting headlines which would damage the ego, and destroy the reality of his supporters, they will go on the list.

So basically what I am saying is, EVERY news outlet is essentially fake news. The only truth news to his supporters are Donald's words which have proven to be hollow, and contradictory. Which is scary because it is exactly how cult followers behavior with their leader.
