We're definitely in the Twilight Zone when you get two fake news propagandists (Brian Stelter -CNN, Ben Smith -Buzzfeed) arguing over who is the most fake. I'm surprised they even did this interview. It's so bizarre.

Listening to these two all I can take away is that the entire thing is BS. Ben Smith only care about damaging Trump so it doesn't matter if it's true. Brian Stelter is trying to put lipstick opn a pig and distance CNN from Buzzfeed's version, but as Ben points out CNN did the same thing. This is why Rush Limbaugh calls the media "The Drive-By Media". They drive through, they do their damage and they're out.

I love how people keep saying that the entire thing is fabricated - the whole thing in it's entirety was a hoax.

It wasn't. The stuff about the hotel room and the lewd sex stuff is probably fake. The stuff about financial ties to Russia with less than desirable folk? There's evidence to suggest that is true.

Not defending either CNN or Buzzfeed though, they are both less that desirable themselves. But yeah, Trump still has skeletons in his closet that people are going to point out and find.

According to some it is.

I'm not sure how you can claim it's not. What evidence is there is back any of it up?

There's evidence to suggest that is true.

Do you know something nobody else does? Present it!

Strange the media wasnt nearly as interested in Obama's past and those surrounding him.

Ah. They spent years talking about how he wasn't American. Fox news did whole hour reports on how he wasn't a legitimate president lol

Yeah, people had just as much fun at the expense of Obama as they are for Trump.

Do you know something nobody else does? Present it!

Sure.

In 2008, Donald Trump Jr. attended a real estate conference, where he stated that

Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.

www.alternet.org...

I dunno about the whole crime boss thing, that's just the article I chose the quote from.

Although it would very easy for Donald to prove us all wrong by releasing his tax returns. But he's not really into the whole transparency thing post winning the election it seems.

Clinton is not the President.

Trump is. You can stop the false equivalency, she lost, she doesn't have anything to do with anything anymore. Trump is now the commander in chief, or at least will be in the next 5 days. You cant' keep saying ' but Hillary' every time somebody asks a question Donald doesn't want to answer.

Right, Fox News did. That's one channel. The rest of the media defended Obama from those claims.

Yeah, people had just as much fun at the expense of Obama as they are for Trump.

No, it's completely different. For example, the Late Night hosts and SNL left Obama alone.

According to snopes this is all unproven and if some of the document is confirmed BS, then I'm inclined to distrust the entire thing.

Yeah you guys ALWAYS say that when the shoe is on the other foot. You're extremely inconsistent in applying your standards. The media is the same way and that's why nobody trusts them.

And Trump is not president yet.

Lets put this into context for the liberals who are having a hardtime with this. If intel that came out about hillary that had scat porn taken from lets say twilight fan-fiction site where hillary clinton had someone dress up like a wolf and someone dress up like a vampire to poo on her face in trump tower in an actual intel document you would still believe what was also in the doc?

Didnt think so! Stop trying to defend this its making all americans look dumb at this point not just liberals

What does financing for buildings have to do with anything being claimed?
Are you aware of just how many American businesses are financed by Russian money?
Conflating this with the conspiracy claims being made is not evidence of anything.

As are the rest of the news outlets doing now with Trump, vs CNN.

No, it's completely different. For example, the Late Night hosts and SNL left Obama alone.

That's true, but Obama wasn't saying the kind of things that make joke writers crap themselves. You have to admit that making fun of trump is pretty easy.

According to snopes this is all unproven and if some of the document is confirmed BS, then I'm inclined to distrust the entire thing.

Snopes is not a measure of anything anymore. I've seen so many Trump supporters say snopes is crap when it doesn't agree with them and that it's great when it does.

The fact is, that there are questions, that Trump refuses to answer about his business dealings, and that makes for a great conspiracy. It's own fault if people don't trust what comes out of his mouth, cause he refuses to prove it.

No I am not, please prove to me where I've done that.

Again, you can't keep blaming Hillary for things Trump is doing.

It matters because it's illegal for POTUS to owe money to foreign governments among other things.

If he has any kind of business relationships with people in Russia, it's an issue, considering Russia is either the greatest friend the US has, or the worst enemy it was, depending on who you ask.

Jesus, Trump supports are treating skeptics like ' how dare you ask these questions'. It reminds me of 2008 after November...

One thing I do agree with Ben Smith on is that what CNN did was worse. The put out an incorrect claim, that the intelligence services briefed Trump that Russia had compromising information on him, and also dressed the claim by talking about how their sources were all good and verified. They pushed a fake narrative onto the American people. Buzzfeed pushed an unverified document out and said it was unverified and in some cases known to be fake.

CNN will just have to wear their fake news badge until they can prove themselves reliable. They have much work to do to restore their credibility.

The loans were not made when Trump was President.
Do we know if the Russian state is bank rolling any of Trump's businesses? NO we don't. In Trump's financial disclosure forms all creditors are named.

There's evidence to suggest my penis is made of 24 karat gold.

But if I were to post a picture of it, that would be a violation of T & C for ATS.

Therefore, I'm gonna need a bunch of members here to post this info because it's coming straight from the horse's mouth!

As far as I understand the American tax system, without releasing them in full, there's no way to know how deep the international ties go with Trump. I could be wrong though. It's happened.

Look I want him to be a good POTUS, and I would prefer he doesn't get impeached over something stupid.

This is the most ignorant post ive ever read. Steele was actually a highly regarded British M16 agent with Russian infomants and that was his niche: russia. He actually gathered intelligence from his russian sources. All intelligence is littered with mistakes. You cant lump this in as "fake news" solely because you are a trump mark. This is actual intelligence from an actual highly reapected retired british agent. Fake news is some website that is obviously spewing lies to fool idiots who are to lazy to actually research what they read. You are an obvious trump supporter who will go to any lengths to continue supporting him. Its only a matter of time before hes indicted/impeached because trump has been dirty for decades. Whats your reason why he wont release his taxes? He never will yet his supporters simply blow that off as if its nothing whereas in truth it reveals much-hence him not releasing them. You cant simply blow that off because the truth is in his taxes-which we will never see. Its the blind leading the blind. By the way-im NPA. Not hillary-not Trump but its easy to see that the trump supporters are the ones being bamboozled the most with clinton supporters a close second but as the poster above said:Clintons not president so get off that worn out excuse blaming her for everything. Its time to get behind your candidate 100% now. No half ass. Then when he falls-you must also admit that you have been conned.

Saw them on CNN this morning. Watched for 30 seconds and turned the channel. Their expressions looked like 2 men on death row, just hours away from the electric chair.
