I can agree with your view of the left party.... they have become the biggest cry babies.

But.... try not to make it sound like survival of the fittest, for doing so leads to arrogance.

I think what this country really needs... is leaders, not bosses.

And to be a leader means that you help others to help themselves.

Not by handouts. And definitely not with stand ins.

I think all of these cry babies need to learn how to... well.... how to "everything."

The left is filled with a bunch of point dexters... they can point, but they can not perform.

Honestly i find the left party to be the laziest. Who hide behind law enforcement officers and string up lines that are for us to obey.

I am center left. Not far left but left enough to distinguish myself from the right, but not left enough to vote for what ever the dnc tells me i should vote for. Even though i have left that party and went green.

But there are so many people on this planet who would approve socialism overnight if it ever came their way. There are enough people out there to truly tide over both political parties. But the sheer laziness of these people, coupled with our upvringing and vision of our daily lives that we ....

Just don't care...

I could troll both parties until i died laughing but i don't. Simply because it doesn't give me that same rush of adrenaline anymore.

And i think a lot of americans are the same.

We've seen it all. We've been through it all. And we get to the point where our elders are... and we just call it the circle of life.

I just wish the political parties would stop holding each other at the neck and respectfully, and peacefully LIVE through each and every president. And stop trying to cling on to it.

If only the establishment would get bored with being the establishment, so they can finally see it isn't worth it in the end.

You can claim I'm triggered until the cows come home, it will never make it true.

Thanks for confirming, however, that the purpose of this, and other, like threads isn't to debate the topic but rather to gang up on anyone who dares to come in to try doing so. Thankyou for confirming you are nothing more than a lowlife bully.

So you're NOT grown up, and this allows you to be immature and amateur????

What's your point?????

I'd really like to hear this rejoinder!!!

Note: don't say stupid S#, and you won't get backed into a corner with it!!!

What on earth are you talking about? How am I backed into a corner for pointing out the fact that you write like a teenage boy...? Don't flatter yourself; your reply makes absolutely zero sense. All you've done is completely ignore what I said and come back with some generic insult which isn't even related to anything.

Start acting like human beings should - your fellow man cast his vote and made his voice heard. Respect that, accept defeat gracefully.

Like you all did with obama?

Like you all would have done with hillary?

Is free speech no longer part of Americans' constitutional rights?

You spent 8 years 'crying' (to use republican terms) about Kenya, Muslims, and guns being stolen. All of which was BS. The hypocrisy is endless.

Had to requote this post as it is nothing but truth.

The hypocrisy is astounding. The bullying behaviour even more so.

That's why you hang out in the mud pit.

It would be wrong to presume only Lefties are opposed to a Trump Presidency. Many life-long Conservative Right-wing Republicans object to his ideas, policies or promises.

To try and dismiss all of his detractors as a single, unified, homogeneous group that is easily vilified is a mistake.

Many Hard Core Rightist Republicans have concerns as well.

Not everyone is crazy.

When I saw your title I know what it will be.. I understand why the world is in this state right now, but if threads like this are here on front page .. cmon.. ATS is no more... this site is just (political) hatred forum now. Do something good instead of spreading hate.

This whole Mud Pit forum was intended to allow dirty discussion. I highly doubt it was created to give a platform for a minority of people to use it to bully, insult, slander and label everyone they disagree with. These people are deliberately creating bait threads for their own vicious amusement. I have a feeling this forum is going to be shut down, or given more policing, very soon.

This forum, in it's current state, is NOT what ATS is about.

Hopefully then those bullies will fade away and we can get ATS back to the place I used to enjoy reading every day.

Exactly.

We're not supposed to mention that though, it ruins the fantasy that some people have constructed for themselves.

It is very easy for an idiot to stick the left into a tidy bag and shout "Here be monsters". The truth of the matter is far to complex for idiots. The "Left" is not a single monolith. The left has a variety of differing factions. I never liked the idea of political dynasties. I voted for Bill but not Hillary. Sometimes the lesser of 2 evils will be voted. I di not vote for Trump because I knew he would take America into a mud pit. Already his election speeches are unsurpassed in terms of obnoxious vitriol.

Say what you like about Obamas politics he was an elegant and accomplished speaker with little scandal. We still do not know of Trump's policies beyond getting rid of Obamacare...

Don't bother. Unless you are here to agree with everything he says, and partake in the bullying and insulting of everyone else, then your words are falling on deaf ears.

Oh absolutely, and as I stated in the OP; the right is not immune from such flailing about either.

You see, I think something has been missed here; this isn't about Trump being some upstanding pillar of mankind, some shining light in a world of darkness or some messiah who will single handedly save the human race. Why? Because he is likely none of these things. However, what he is, and what makes him notable is that he is different. He is not cut from the same old 'establishment' cloth as the too numerous to mention career politicians today. No, in its simplest and most distilled form, this thread is about how some just resist change. And 'change' is just exactly what is needed in American politics right now. Some might say change for the sake of change itself, and I wouldn't take particular issue with this notion. It's needed.

Will Trump be the panacea for all mankind's ills? In all honesty, most likely not. He will do some good things, and he will probably do some downright stupid things, but most importantly what he will bring about is the breaking of a mold which has long been in need of breaking. Quite frankly, he just might be the lightning rod who shatters the two-party stranglehold on American politics. Wouldn't that be a novel thing? Not because of his fantastical deeds, but because of who he is...and more importantly, who he isn't. He isn't one of "them", and just a simple look at the ire on the right is living proof of this.

My issue isn't that I wish to "troll" the left (as some would suggest); my issue is, I don't understand why people cannot see this for what it is. It is an opportunity, nothing more. And people's solid rooting in resistance to 'change' has been clearly evidenced here on this thread. Oh sure, I threw some barbs in now and again to dump some fuel on an already ignited flame, but more than anything this was just to illustrate how absolutely crazed people can be sometimes, how blinded by their own zeal they can be, without regard to the opportunities which stand right before them.

Do I like Obama? No, but equally I don't think he was a tyrant and a dictator either. I actually had some hope for Obama when he was first elected in 2008 (believe it or not), I truly did. His biggest failing though (in my opinion) was, despite his campaign slogans of "hope and change", he didn't bring about change at all. In fact, in the end, he really just brought about more of the same, and therein lies the problem.

Will Trump save the world? Probably not, but he may just inspire some new blood amongst the "old-guard", career politicians and the "establishment".

In short, he represents change, and he represents opportunities.
