The cool ones.
They were the ones
many of us longed
to become.
First step was to find
someone not so cool
and beat them down.
Have them convinced
They were a waste of space
and better off
deep deep underground.
This put the cool ones
up and above.
They now were on
the winning team.
Going fast to nowhere
little did they know
They were just
daydreaming.
The cool ones
were the ones who thought
they knew
how it all worked.
But it was all just
a spanner in the works.
Because that’s how
this cheeky con works.
Lifts you up
keeps you believing
what you are not.
The more they bought
in to it.
The more profound
The sly rot within it.
Come on now
now you know
you just have to let it go.
Remove the dark seed
and let your love flow.
You’ve been used,
as an emissary
of destruction.
A double agent,
on a mission
First you destroy yourself
then any other person,
that stands in your way.
Ah not me I hear you say,
I hope so my friend
would be nice
to see humanity
living happy
always ready to play.
War games
never were funny.
