I hadn't heard of the Lonley (sic.) Soul story before.

But I feel weird about the materializing jelly blobs, considering that happened at my place a few decades ago and I've heard about it a few times since. I had no idea at the time that it was potentially a surnatural event, although I do remember being very weirded out by the whole yard filling up with these clear, inert blobs that quickly disintegrated in the sun.
No illness that I can recall, but they appeared under trees and open sky alike which leads me to think that they might have come out of the ground somehow.
