its a thread started as the first plane hit the towers.

truely amazing second by second account of the events of that awfull day from people in the uk.

On the morning of 9/11, many news websites were overwhelmed with traffic and stopped functioning. It was smaller sites like shauny's football one and the then-smallish Fark.com where many people turned online to get constant updates.

The links I provided are a rough read .... it's truly like reliving the day.
