An 'eff you' letter is not going to get a reply. I message couched in a manner that shows you are a loyal customer who is genuinely upset but willing to remain if certain issues resolved most likely will get a reply.
It was a series of very poor service-related issues. The president of PepsiCo handled them directly. They were all resolved the next week and we were reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses.

Im not interested in a negotiation and it would get me nowhere.
From this I can only assume you were some sort of supplier or distributor?
I doubt very much if someone who was just a regular Pepsi drinker would under any circumstances get a response from the CEO.
In my Trivago protest Im just a Pepsi drinker, its going to take alot of us Pepsi drinkers to make a difference

The amicable resolution in this case is they withdraw millions of dollars of obviously profitable advertising to appease 1 customer who spends a few thousand $ (resulting in a couple hundred $ of actual revenue).
Im an optomistic guy but even I can see an exercise in futility when its before me hahaha
They get a few 1000 like me and its a different story, long drawn out discussions are irrelevant

Fun and adventure using an app?
Fun and adventure is turning up at a place with no links and paying less for the same accommodation that others booked on an app.
You've never 'really' travelled if you rely on your phone.

It would be interesting to see how many ATS members are engaged in personal boycotts and what companies are affected. Might make for a good read.

Of course adventure is subjective, a child exploring a fully health and safety approved play place is experiencing adventure for sure.
And yes I do consider travelling with a full signal smart phone, maps n apps as much less of an adventure.
It is merely a safe vacation in my mind, but if you find organised well regulated travelling exciting then I'm pleased for you.

Yea, something changed for me in my mid twenties and I gave up on cereals all together. They began causing me great discomfort. Had that not happened, I would have been with you on that one.
Did you make the thread about that ordeal? Seems like I remember seeing here, but might have been another of my haunts.

Maybe you are being too hard on Trivago. It makes sense to advertise travel options to people who promised to leave the country after the election. It's just good business sense. Think of it this way, they are performing a public service.
