50 foot rogue wave generated by not an earthquake but bizarre wind patterns strikes a 591 foot ship "Explorer". While blasting out the bridges
windows and short circuiting electrical systems non of the 970 souls aboard were seriously hurt. This is really weird. Have heard about these waves
before, just wonder if it made it to shore and what damage it did there!

January 28, 2005 A 50-foot rogue wave struck a ship being used as a Semester at Sea vessel Wednesday night. The 591-foot Explorer lost use of three of
its four engines as it sailed in the Pacific Ocean, about 650 miles south of Adak, Alaska, 800 miles from Midway Island, and 1,600 miles from
Honolulu.
"It was like an earthquake hit the boat," Becca Leonard, a University of Southern California student, told the Anchorage Daily News.
Is Mother Earth starting to "freak" on us?!
With the earthquake patterns, volcanos, hurricanes, record tornado year, what will this year bring?
