Only by americans. Makes ya think, doesn't it? Our supposed friends all up in violating NAFTA, coercing us and stuff. Civil relations would be
nice. Maybe then Canada will be less anti-american.
And by Arab nations (like Iran just recently), and any nation that wants to use your passports for their spies and such.
Canadians are not jealous of Americans......I repeat, Canadians are not jealous of Americans. We simply become weary of the bad attitude of a
portion of the population. You are without a doubt, the most paranoid, self-important nation on this planet. Good lord, get over yourself.
Canadians may not be jealous, but something about America sure grades on them. It's amazing. Europeans and Canadians seem to put so much thought into
their hatred of America, and Americans have never given a damn.
I'm really getting tired of people who constantly downplay America's strengths, and highlights its faults. Our people are no more nationalistic or
paranoid than anyone else. What we do just happens to get the attention of all the world. No one pays attention to a French official who makes a dumb
statement. An American says something, like Ann Coulter, and people all over the world are talking about it.
Do you know what a secularism is? someone who believes in the seperation of church and state. Here's the dictionary definition : " The view
that religious considerations should be excluded from civil affairs or public education." Who here believes that the church should not have any
business in how the state is governed?
That's one definition of secularism. It's also a person who just kind of doesn't like religion.
Moore has basically called religion an entity used just to control the masses. To me, that's not just calling for the seperation of church and state,
it's showing complete distaste for religion.
Democratic Socialism is mostly known as a secular government elected by the people with a socially-oriented free market economy. Socialism has
many faces and I believe this is the best form of government today. Even the US has some socialist policies and every western nation has them as
You can't have a socially-oriented free market economy. It's just a way for Europeans to get away with being like the Soviets without actually
calling themselves the same thing.
Capitalism means no government control over the economy where I come from. A government that goes around taxing and setting standards and regulations
on everything is not capitalist.
And yes, America, and the West in general, have been adopting socialist policies. It's been screwing over all the economies at the same time. Canada
and Europe's economies are generally awful. Many in America want to take it down the same path.
Nevertheless, Moore doesn't call for conversions of hundreds of millions to christianity does he? he respects people's right to religion even
if he may disagree with the evangelical right and their politicial agenda.
Like he respects small businesses? What did he say again? Bring on the shackles?
Extreme leftists are the closest thing the Western world has to nazism, and Moore is pretty close to fitting the bill.
