Did anyone else notice that Sessions wasnt happy that the anti-torture law was applied to everyone from privates to the top?

I think Sessions lost where he was after the protesters. Anyone else see the mini freakout he did for a half of a second about 15 minutes ago?

He reached to move the namecard in front of him, then reached to move something that wasn't there, lol, then realized what he did and looked around crazily haha.

It really looked like his mind was slipping in that moment.

Is that POS Ted Cruz who just spent the last 5 min. bashing Democrats and Obama during this vetting of Sessions???

Does he think he's still on the campaign trail or something??? WTF was all that.

No he goes right into jerking off sessions like a good little boy.

Now he's attacking Frankin.

Cruz is sleazy nob gobbler partisan hack with less than zero integrity.

He is a bizarre human being. Hardly a way to bring people together. Insult them then throw them a bone? Very ignorant. Save the current vs future law debate for a different forum. He wasted his precious time. Another fanatic.

Here comes the Clinton matter. He just admitted he would not be able to be objective towards Clinton. He said he intends to recuse himself from anything Clinton related. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Did youcatch the backstab to Lynch in that exchange?

Between he and Grassley, it was also subtly emphasized how he would recuse himself ... unlike his predessecor. Remember how Lynch also had questions over how she would be unable to be impartial after the tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton and she didn`t recuse herself and then the Dept. of Justice did not recommend prosecution after the FBI turned the case over to them?

It was a subtle dig of the knife but it was there.

If he is confirmed for the Attorney General position, he will no longer be involved in making laws.

Yeahhhhh you can't read. Lol. Go back to making ridiculous threads that are divisive and riddled with ignorance. Bye.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH this is the greatest thing I've seen on ATS in some time.

HAHAHA he just got burned hard there. Sessions thought he burned Blumenthal on the Clinton special prosecutor question and got that # throw right in his face.

Excellent response to Franken's abortion question and protection of clinics.

Here we go. The JDs role in how states operate. Don't puss out and glance over the issue.

I don't know. They are not announcing who is speaking very well but that was funny ass # that didn't prove his point at all.

And now who ever this is now asking if the AG doesn't have to defend/help government agencies in understanding the law? Who the # is this?

Why the # is he asking about his feelings? He should be asking about the LAW that is what the AG deals in.

You heard him wrong. He was referring to his rate of successful prosecutions of firearm-related crime while he was a US Attorney in Alabama.

I did notice that. He took subtle stab at Holder, too.

Did anyone see the BLM protesters get escorted out?

Was watching before.

I liked the way he answered when grilled about immigration. He said what we all have been.

Get the criminals out, when there is a rule of law again, look into the other types of illegals that arent criminals.

Apply, get accepted, denied and move on.

His stance on weed is retarded.

He is a stickler for the rule of law though. Good.

I think that a lot of once powerful people are watching this, enraptured, many of them if not a little nervously.

So Session's is going to correct the mistakes made by the previous administration in tolerating legalization of cannabis.

Great.
