Oh I think people are still investing in China, but now India is a strong force that will start to move and shake.

This is only about money, if Ma didn't think there was a profit to be had, he wouldn't be here.

If this is a olive branch, and I am not saying it is, then it is a very bold and smart move. Trump loves to have people come to him and make sure he is the center of the universe. Smart, if that is what is happening.

Yea, we can!

Buy what you need(is necessary) and not what you want!

If you can't afford it? Save up for it and wait versus becoming a slave to the banks by borrowing.......

Where is this info coming from the corporations? Hint they have an agenda.

What may happen is the profits may not be super fat. There is a growing realization that we were lied to (say it ain't so) about the service sector being a good replacement for manufacturing.
Everyone knew it was a lie, but there was big $$$$ to be made.

There could easily be over 1+ million jobs created if cannabis was legalized

And legalize Prostitution, the world oldest profession, and watch the boom times roll in once again.

Every individual, and his dog, will then have something to sell. Small business boom.

Oh sure. Yet in such a short span of time? China, Japan, Fiat...where they out of? Germany?

Profit, I'm sure is the major point. Yet purchasing a little good-will from the Don is, as you say, smart.

The stunning thing is how easy it's been, at least for the commitments. It points out how indifferent the last few Administrations have been. Now if he follows through with the tax break for Corporations returning money from outside the U.S.?

Sweet lord....the ramifications.

Reading all the negative comments in this thread is an indication of one of the problems in the country. Someone offers up an idea to get people to work and the people complain about it not being good enough. Maybe the 1M jobs aren't executive level paying 6 figures a year but its a heck of a lot better than sitting ones *ss living off welfare.

Do you live in China?

If you don't what did I say that warranted that response from you?

All I said was people need to buy what they need, not what they want. Consumerism is all well and good until people buy ship they can't afford!

Please enlighten me on how what I said offended you!

Here ya go!

You get a virtue signaling medal to show your college professor and make them proud!

This can be partisan if you want it to be, but it shouldn't! It should be about our government taking care of US instead of sacrificing our way of life to try and better those who could care less about our way of life!

Understand?

Even if you don't? I gave ya a trophy!
