Thinking about going to Italy in 2017? Think again as there came a warning from ISIS about going after the romantic country Italy.

ISLAMIC State militants will attack Italy soon and there could be a massive loss of life, warns one of the country’s top police chiefs.

The Principal of L’Aquila said: “I think we must be very clear about the fact that the chance of an attack in Italy is very high.

“That goes from taking a car and running over a group of people to start shooting at a crowd, and so on.

Franco Gabrielli shocked Italians by saying terrorists with ISIS links had already come “very close” to committing atrocities on a grand scale in the past.

Not much else to say except that ISIS has pretty much been threatening the whole world. Europe was first and North America is not too far behind I am sure. The terrorists in ME really don't like the West and should anything happen to Italy, or other EU countries, I wonder how Trump will react to this?

Either way...it is better to think about the positives in the world than the negatives. The only fear is the fear itself.

From what I understand, ISIS has a lot of resources (selling boatloads of Oil for one, hoards of fighters with hate in their heart for another) at their disposal. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

The whole of Europe is currently on alert, fireman in London who a work colleague engaged with stated a attack was imminent and the real scare is biological or chemical..

It could come from anyone of the mass unvetted migrants that where let in to the disappear without trace, oh they came in from ISIS strong holds as well to make the matter really juicy f'#cking absurd!!!!!!......


Why oh why could it not be bloody Buddhists that where migrating??, I can stomach a mindset that is to make the world a better place via Karma rather than the BS we have imported which is one of conquest and carnage by low intelligent savage morons that hate the western life and everything it stands for...

There will be a terror attack any day soon, but we should expect anti terror legislation and increased surveillance to be pushed through the Italian parliament following this announcement.

Libyan authorities have warned Italy of the presence of a Milan-based cell affiliated to the Islamic State (Isis) terror group. The revelation was made after Libyan authorities seized some documents when government troops took over an IS (Daesh) headquarter in the city of Sirte earlier in August.

It is believed the cell is associated with Abu Nassim, a 47-year-old Tunisian man who lived in Italy before becoming an IS commander in Libya, AFP reported.

Yeah any day now. Been thinking of these bio and chem attacks recently. Puts me off moving house to be honest. Another thing is the ISIS seem to attack all over the world, but I can't remember one in south America or southern africa. Maybe they will be the safe zones when the crap using bad weapons hits us.

My sister has been vacationing and visiting relatives over there since October of 2016. I just sent her an e-mail warning her of the possible attack on Italy. I warned her before she left that ISIS's grand target could be the Vatican since it's the symbol of Christianity. She's definitely concerned and is thinking about shortening her visit.

There has been ongoing warnings about Italy being attacked by ISIS. Better to be safe than sorry.

There is a disturbing trend developing right now on ATS whereby people are wishing things like this on groups they do not like. This is how civil wars start - the escalation of difference to anger, then hatred, then words inciting violence then actual actions.

And when it boils over into actions nobody is safe. Just look at what blew up in Syria.....

Lets suppose there is a terrible attack and 1000 victims... it's still a 100,000-1 chance (ish) of being an unlucky one. I'll roll the dice and enjoy life rather than give in, just my view.
