NoOneAskedMe Introduction

Hello ATS,

This is my introduction thread (yay). I've been a lurker here for far too long, years in fact, and have finally decided to take the plunge. I've been a long time reader of the breaking news stuff, but have decided I wanted to weigh in on some of the other stuff. I particularly like the philosophical and scientific forums, and I hope I can at least add some food for thought.

Actually the log-in screen said only 5 posts before making a new thread. My original comment plus this one means only 3 now, although, I don't plan on making any threads in the near future. Still getting used to the site.

People sometimes ask each other questions, I'll try to remember to ask you too.

Hello and welcome! Good to have more participation around here so it doesn't become stagnant. Thread making advice; -when you get to that point- IMO it's best to start off in BTS(chitchat to the contributing forums-art, music, etc.), begin it's a little easier to deal with reception and helps you learn the ropes.

I used to be pretty active around here about 8 years ago I think.


My very first account was registered around 2004 I think ... So I've gone from lurker to active to lurker many times

It's interesting to see how things evolve over time.

Who can lurk for years? I could never keep quiet for that long!

May I suggest going first to the NEW thread section when you 1st come on and it will show you dozens of posts in dozens of forums to see what's being discussed RIGHT NOW?

As you can see... Breaking news often isn't and may be a day or so old... Whereas NEW are up to the minute topics all over the forums!
