I agree with you in that Chicago is exceptional, as are the criminal politicians it produces, such as obama.

President Obama handles this horrible situation very well. He explains that the new technology is allowing us to view this stuff live. And calls this crime terrible and that we need to talk about racism.

But do you agree that the problems of race relations has gotten better? I would love to live in a world where I can walk anywhere in the city, but I know full well I'm not going to walk there. But that is just my experience, I don't represent the whole country.

"I promise you [that] for the most part, race relations have gotten better,” Obama said in reference to the horrible video where a white man was beaten by 4 black people. Is he right? Are things getting better?
First, as a Black American, let me say that the animals that did this to that kid should be put down, or at the very least, locked in a cage forever. As far as race relations in my neck of the woods in Georgia, race relations are fine. We live outside the city limits and we have White and Black neighbors. As far as Chicago is concerned, I hope those savages eradicate each other until they're all gone. Those creatures are not "Black" people and us Black people hate these animals.

A.) Politicians lie.
B.) Obama is a politician.
C.) Politicians lie about their legacy when leaving office
D.) Obama is leaving office.

Obama is a politician leaving office and lying about his legacy.

I got high-fived by a random black dude at a bar a while back so I'd say race relations are pretty good.

lol

In the past 8 years, I didn't get kidnapped and tortured by four thugs of a different race.
So race relations have been great under Obama.

The scary part is that historians writing new textbooks for schools and universities are more apt to put his quotes and dialog into history books than anyone else's. Who know's what they will be teaching to the future generations?

Funny how many of you discredit his message likely due to your own bias created by the MSM, which has all but been confirmed absolute bullsnip.

Most things HAVE gotten better, from my honest and personal perspective.

I live in Utah in a very religious area - There's more general acceptance in the community of things like gay marriage, medical marijuana, and such and less overall talks of other races - Not to say they advocate for such things, just that they are less against it, or open to talk about such things - It used to be more that the Mormon religion did not have a great view of their darker-skinned brothers, and had more of a hatred stance towards those things that didn't fit their morality.. but that's hardly the case anymore. Some of that old ideology exists, but I see less of it all the time.

He will not go quietly into the night. He will continue to race bait for decades to come. He's still a very young man.

Totally agree, race was an issue that was gradually working its self out. Only till Obama got elected the media created a racial circus about a black president. Now it's Trump, and his war on illegal's who are mostly Hispanic. To me it looks like a deliberate shaking up of the racial bees nest so we forget or loose sight of the real enemy, That being the share holders of the federal reserve. As far as some of the police go, I wonder if they see race when it comes to exercising their control issues instead of the Law.

It seems like lately, top politicians are stirring up racial conflict. By calling people not politically correct for harmless comments, they seem to be getting people all riled up. I grew up being friends of some local Indians, now that is considered an insult by some. I thought Indian was a name that was considered prestigeous. Now people want us to call them Native Americans. I would rather call them friend.

Well said!!!! I fully agree as a Hispanic individual.

Those people are animals .

IMO We have reached a tipping point when it comes to racism in this country and are heading on the wrong direction.

It was important at one time to expose the horrific acts that Whites did to Black Americans in this country despite both race having their hands dirty when it comes to slavery and racism. However now the primary one sided bias from the MSM and the DNC is doing more harm than good. By stereotyping all Whites as the only villains when it comes to racism and All Blacks as the Victims.

Nobody likes to be labelled as a victim or a villain. All this is doing now is causing hate, anger, and animosity on both sides.

The end result are those animals in that video and surely the ignorant white animals on the other side will use this to justify their retaliation .

We Black Americans and White Americans need to come together and stand up to the MSM and the DNC who are exploiting this for their selfish needs and pandering to the ignorant individuals with no regards to the repercussion.

We need to stop and rethink our strategies on how we handle racism in today’s world , in order to move in a positive direction once again. Versus the direction we are heading today that only fuels the hate, anger, and intolerance of races.

In your opinion, what did Obama do that made relations worse?

1) the gates incident. Massachusetts police questioned a black homeowner about his presence there, not realizing he was a resident. the homeowner went ballistic. Obama described this as 'it is clear the police acted stupidly'. no, they didn't. if the police refused to protect his property would that have been racist? are the police expected to know every resident?

2) suggested 'If I had a son he would look like Trayvon'. Trayvon was a street thug that attacked a citizen volunteer and got shot in self defense.
who cares what Obama's theoretical son would look like? what about his actions? what about judging people based on the content of their character, not the color of their skin?
how about 'If I had a son he would be a community volunteer and mentor, like George'.

3) scolded the police of Ferguson MO for using 'excessive force against peaceful protesters'. the protestors were smashing windows and stealing stuff. and throwing Molotov cocktails at the police.

Very good points, Obama acted like his words didn't carry a lot of weight.

When he makes passive aggressive comments with back handed subjects it pushes people to riot and attack the police.
