Would not Assange have to turn up in court to be cross-examined?
For that reason, CNN may think they are bluffing.

As a company, WikiLeaks can file as an entity. Assange can be deposed, but not compelled to appear.

Anyway, this sounds like the opening bout of the SHTF.

Many good but naive people, associate Wikileaks with Julian Assange. Therefore; if Wikileaks is doing 'x' then perception reads this as Julian Assange is doing 'x.' so therefore he must be alive.

Note also that no organizations ever sue Wikileaks, yet they accuse them of spying, selling secrets and so on.

Doesn't prove he's alive or free. Appearance could have been faked, pre-recorded, or done under duress. If he is still in the embassy why doesn't he come to the window?

Rumor has it that wikileaks has been compromised by intelligence sources for some time and is only keeping up appearances.

CNN issued an apology after one of its paid commentators called WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange "a pedophile" during a live broadcast Wednesday morning.

Phil Mudd, a counterterrorism analyst for the network, slipped out the incorrect accusation while discussing Assange's controversial anti-secrecy site on the network's "New Day" show.

"I think there's an effort to protect WikiLeaks (and) a pedophile who lives in the Ecuadorian embassy in London — this guy is not credible," Mudd said, referring to Assange.

You wanna know what annoys me about this story? Back During the pizzagate drama, CNN went all out how we shouldnt be accusing people of such things without evidence. (Even though there is a vastness of Circumstantial Evidences within the wikileaks which should have atleast sparked an investigation by the FBI .)

But now here they are...saying that the Wikileaks founder... is a what now? Without evidence and not even circumstantial ones, (whereas pizzagate had plenty.) But seriously what ...what the hell?

What was that about fake news and how it started? Did CNN just do what it accused others of doing? (no shock there.)

Yes Julian should sue , but the question is, with all the judges and affiliates in the left's pocket's; can it even make it to court?

Moments ago, Wikileaks tweeted that as a result of a segment airing on CNN, the whistleblowing organization announced it has “issued instructions to sue CNN for defamation.”

Wikileaks was referring to a segment in which CNN had the ex-Deputy-Director of the CIA “falsely calling Assange a ‘pedophile.’

Ah yes. The alleged rapist and his Russian propaganda machine will attempt to extract money from the low quality news network. The alleged rapist complains about being called a pedo, but hides from his home country's police over evidence that he rapes women. This is the classic mindframe of the pervert. Anyone want to bet that Donald Trump does NOT have a plan in mind for bankrupting CNN after he's President? Naturally, he won't be the person carrying it out, but his administration will.
