It is not that long ago that people on ATS found out that ATS's ip traced to Langley at the time.

Nothing he ever did can hold a candle to all the endless unjust wars and millions of casualties from that. He's never been in politics, can't be bought, he's working for free. And bypassing channels talking direct to the american people thru Twitter. I want to hold out hope, I hope they don't kill him so he can at least try.

And then again maybe its just another fostered illusion... still holds fingers crossed.

And some of the members here are still Langley associated. But that does nothing to deter me from saying what I have to say, or asking questions I'd like an answer too. Truthfully I have high hopes that I make someone at the top a little uncomfortable. Maybe even get some old hearts pumping a little to fast.

I'm not going to say the title or the authors just in case they are banned here on ATS, but it was suggested that this is a listening post for certain powers that be.
(I must say however that the comments aired were very anti ATS which appeared to stem from an old beef long ago.

The whole internet is 'monitored', so what. Nowadays, we are under surveillance of one form or another every day. You guys should chill with the ATS is "something else".

The school system lied to me, stating that we lived in a country ruled by the people for the people. I haven't seen a president yet that cared whatsoever what the people had to say. We say no and they still do whatever they want. I see Trump on Twitter talking about them as if it were me walking into the Whitehouse. I sure hope it holds up.

This thread has many examples of the disinformation techniques described, let alone this website. Understanding the engagement and quality of information should be required thinking for all school kids these days.

The problem with a creative writer like Orwell, he gives people ideas. The problem with 1984 if you keep the Proles happy, they will trade happiness for freedom, your freedom as well. What he doesn't mention is the other side of the Totalitarian regime, it being a poisoned chalice with very few ways out. As we can see to get to the top, your mixing with some nasty characters that play for keeps. You are always a target because someone thinks they can do a better job. Then you have to compromise by making alliances with these "others". Which leaves you with what amounts to a royal elite in fact, not necessarily in title. So their you go, just a few messy ends to clean up. like free speech, which will be done with "doublespeak". Where you accuse others of the crimes you commonly commit. "You understand now Winston?"

To add to that i dont think that any association to langley that was found has ended for ATS for what it is. Of course the IP addresses were changed when it became known but nothing more then that. We would have to be very naive to assume something like that.

You make your self sound like an official of such a place, covering up for such a s#it hole. Not to say you are, or aren't. But putting your self in a place too help such an establishment in such a fashion, puts you in a smaller group, or category, that leads me to believe your not batting for the same team. With that being said. Explain why you should or shouldn't be labeled as an informant.

I dont understand.

First i pointed out that at some point ATS members found that ATS lead to a langley ip address. After that i state that even though that was changed that that does not mean that any of that truly changed anything.
