"President and Mrs. George W. Bush will attend the 58th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony on January 20, 2017, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.," the statement read. "They are pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power -- a hallmark of American democracy -- and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence."

Peaceful transfer of power my butt. Hillary Clinton made it impossible for a peaceful transference of power.

The Bush's are a bunch of turn coat RINO"s.

Who gives a crap I say they should stay home. Who needs them anyway. link

Previously, Jimmy Carter was the only former commander in chief who had publicly said he would attend Trump's inauguration. Bush's father, President George H.W. Bush, will not be attending due to his health, a spokesman has told CNN.

Jimmy Carter should go back home as well. No one needs him either. Maybe he sould go back to peanut farming knowing that he is the secound worst president in history.

Obama is another leftist that made the peaceful transfer of power impossible.

He should stay home as well.

It will all be worth it to see the look on their faces.

What bad blood? They've been allies for decades.

Bush the 1st's administration negotiated NAFTA while Clinton's administration implemented it. Clinton's administration negotiated to let China into the WTO, and Bush the 2nd's administration helped companies send their jobs there. There are numerous pictures of Bushes and Clintons hanging out, but I simply don't feel like posting any.

Carter is a true gentleman, a classy honorable guy, after leaving the whitehouse he did that habitat for humanity and a lot of other humanitarian things.
he wasn`t much of a president but he`s always had good intentions.

The Clintons will be sneering and jeering the whole time.

The bitterness will be soooo obvious.

He probably would if he,or anyone else, knew exactly where his "home" actually is.nobody has figured it out yet and I think after all the lies he`s told about it,he`s forgotten where it is too.

He also took $20 million from the Saudis for his 'peanut farm.'

He was also manipulated by some believers in aliens. *cough* the CIA *cough*

What the hell are you talking about? Did he seize power and finally institute Martial law across the country that made a peaceful transfer of power impossible like the right has been claiming he would do for 8 years now?

I think it was meant bad blood with Trump, but yes absolutely the Bush's & Clinton's are cut from the same domestic subverting democracy overthrowing drug running mass murdering partners in crime cloth.

Both the Bush's and Clinton's family legacies are at all time lows. One could argue all day the similarities and differences between the two clans but the fact remains attending the inauguration is almost mandatory for both if there is to be any political future for either.

Pure self-preservation on their part, IMO.

Yeah on second look, it probably was talking about towards Trump. Then again, there's always this:

and this:

I don't think any of them are really enemies.

"Bending the knee" as the Trump crowd calls it. The optimism is great. George Jr. is not a good monarch, but is definitely a good chap.

It will be too cold for Hillary. They'll send her smiling, youthful-looking double instead. Bill will be full of anti-freeze, so he'll survive the cold.. red nose and all.
