The only problem was, Larson did not do anything illegal on Press Your Luck. No mechanics or technology was used. No back room dealing. All he did was play exceptionally smart which CBS even admited to.

Now, later life certainly shows Larson to be a chat so in the overall sense, he is a cheat, but on PYL, he just did something nobody else ever did.
