No one is making excuses for it and no one is saying this guy did the right thing by murdering someone. He needs to be thrown in jail along with all the other murderers around the world regardless of their ethnic or ideological group.

Islam takes very seriously the honor and protection of women. The Quran repeatedly reminds men to treat women with kindness and fairness. Rape is a horrible crime which causes a women humiliation and physical harm.

The police don't even know what the motive was other that the perpetrator told them he had personal problems and didn't know who the woman was.

When faced with certain gun restrictions, the gun lovers tell us that bad people with guns are always going to be around, so there's no point in restricting the good guys with guns.
