England and France fought hundreds of years of war. For what? France and Germany fought hundreds of years of war. For what? War is not the answer. Peace is the only thing that will enable mankind to settle space. War would only delay that process and endanger mankind to extinction.

I think Trump is playing with fire. Just because Americans believe that it's time for the US and Russia to be friends doesn't mean that the other side thinks the same way.

I agree completely. Putin has repeatedly said he wants t bring back the Solviet Union. Most people I interacted with on Eastern Europe are very scared of Russia. I think Putin is playing America, EU, NATO and the rest of the west.

Some people need to realize that Russia is looking out for its interests. Just like China is and the US should be doing. There is nothing wrong with that until people start thinking that such and such a nation is looking out for the US. Even allies are like that.

Come January 20, Trump is the boss of America and the boss of Republicans. Who dissents is treason.

I actually trust the CIA and our intelligence people on this one. SO do the people who got the confidential briefings. We only get the surface info.

Difference between Trump lackeys and I is I do trust our intelligence sources a hell of a lot more then some senile "real estate developer" - and so do some people, like Mccain, who I rarely agree with, and who DID get the confidential intelligence that you and I did not get.

If they

Communist party has very little support in Russia. Putin's United Russia party is a right wing party and enemy of communists. Russian empire MAYBE. USSR no way. Russia's flag is the same as that of the Russian empire.

Sorry about the premature send.

My point is - if the intelligence community, good american senators who got the briefings, and even if what was released is half true, I want Russia destroyed over this.

Even if that means a war with them.

And I am a liberal and generally against war. Our family did too many wars as it is.

No senator was briefed. Congress asked CIA for a briefing and CIA defied Congress by not giving briefing. There is no evidence of Russia hacked DNC.

We already weakened and drained ourselves considerably through the blunder of Iraq. Although I agree Putin has expansionist ambitions, especially in Europe, actual war with Russia over the next couple years is unlikely. Trump is likely give Putin access to a lot of our business, but while he's pilfering, it's actually the situation in Asia that concerns me most. China. For starters. That's where Trump wants to stir # up the most. Maybe he thinks the Russians will help us fight China.

Except the picture has changed a bit. While we were wasting time bombing psychotic goat herders and stealing their oil and spending billions doing it, the Chinese were actually doing smart stuff. Like solidifying their influence in Asia, making inroads in Africa, and building alliances and infrastructure in places we seem to love to ignore or write off. Expanding their space program. China is the dragon it might even be too late to deal with.

Trump the little twitterbitch is completely out of his league on the international scale. It's gonna get ugly....

I happen to think (guess) that Putin would want to keep that naive US herd he has gathered intact and favorable towards him, so propably some "friending" between the two leaders could be into coming. For trump and his fanbois it will be enough to once and a while hear some reassuring nice words from kind and manly mr Putin. Then they feel like they have got the respect of a real man and that they have a powerful and thoughtful friend by their side.
US intelligence apparatus on the other hand is propably not so easily fooled. Trump will have hard time trying to explain his (cabinets and advisors) decicions to his moscow fed fanbase if he has to confront Putin in some critical issue.
People who don't see why media is critical of mr. Trumps abilities to run worlds most powerful country are beyond reasoning. It should be obvious to anyone. Russian meddling in US elections should be obvious to anyone, I think that most of the people shouting it didn't happen are people most affected by the russian propaganda. Not taking any sides here tho. US has lost all credibility and can not bitch other countries about meddling in elections.
I would like to see the world being one big happy family. But it doesn't come to that by bonding of Putin and Trump. Other is calculating strategic mastermind who (seemingly) pursues greatness of his country and the other one is an idiot who doesn't even know the game he is in.
Last time the US had leader who SEEMED totally incompetent that worked as a smokescreen for some shady cabal to instigate 9/11, Iraq war etc etc... The relief of the whole world after the bad cop left the room and the good cop came in was so great that even before he started to act his role the good cop was awarded a Nobel peace price. I wonder if this is the case this time also. Maybe the hype about "wrong" candidate winning the election is just to give illusion that the unexpected happened, maybe with unwitting co-operation from kremlin intelligence apparatus. Having divicive and debated president, who, according the offical narrative, even came to power because of those pesky ruskies offers great pretext for "get out of jail"-card that can be played once the planned attrocities have been done.
So I think that Putin thinks that he peed in USAs cereals, but who actually laughs last is the NWO who played all parties once again. And in the middle there is mr Trump, happily unaware about anything that happens around him, just reacting the way he knows how and doing what he seems he must, in other words playing his part.

It's not hard to see why people see the left and the right as a joke.

It's astonishing really....a few short years ago, Trump would be called a traitor by real conservatives for his current actions.

And now liberals are raving warharks and mccarthyists. Go figure.

In a weird Federation-Romulans sort of way, we ARE friends, and not, at the same time.

Putin isn't the worst person and the Russians aren't the worst group in the world right now. Not that everyone isn't out for themselves ultimately, but not everyone's Satan Incarnate because they dragged some DNC crap into the light either.

Trump family as the Lannisters, only without a Tyrion

Yeah, right.

Russia is going down over this one.

You can count on that when the anti-war liberals like me will completely stand up with the hawks like McCain.

Russia is going to pay dearly for this.

While I don't trust Putin or his motives, maintaining some kind of cordial alliance between the US and Russia seems to be a wiser idea than antagonism and hostility.

WWII would never have been won if not for our Russian allies.

20,000,000 Russians lost their lives fighting the globalist socialist Nazis.

They will make a fine ally against the modern globalists and islamofascists as well.

We wouldn't have dropped the A-Bombs on Japan if not to for the Russians. We needed to show them who's the boss! Looks like we still do!
