Why is it that liberals always deal in revisionist history? The MSM was solidly behind Hillary and was schooled in how to "handle her." Hillary was the guaranteed winner and every Progressive/Socialist/Globalist media outlet wanted in on the ground floor and were wined and dined to assure they understood their assignments. There is plenty of evidence that the DNC WikiLeaks email dump was an inside job and not a hack...the Russians are the Black Flag that will be used to set a narrative to try to delegitimize Trump's Presidency. We as a nation need to look more closely at the content of the emails and not be misdirected by the MSM to a Russian herring. The Democrat party is now irrelevant as a national party, washed away in a sea of red and struggling to understand how it all went so wrong....hence the need for a safe space.

Short answer?

No.

The MSM did not miscount votes, change votes.

Then again, neither did the Russians.

In case you didn't notice, my statement was in regard to the liberal media mentioned in Windword's post. Good rant though, the best ones are always shot from the hip.

Your post is brilliant...

I haven't read your other 31 posts but if they're half this cogent and I welcome you to ATS…
A keen mind on either side of the aisle is always welcome here..

btw, put on your rain boots because you're about to be assaulted with liberal tears and ear plugs for their whining over the election they lost…

I'm sure you triggered 90% of them with your post...

Freedom hating conservatives??

Actually the word I used was authoritarians. There are plenty of conservatives left (I hope) who aren't clamoring to eradicate freedom of the press.

Liberals are so weak minded they won't even let us read Huckleberry Finn or to kill a mockingbird… Take a look at this for a thread to see how your ilk actually feels about freedom...

That's the best you could come up with? A parent wanting a book removed the school library? Pathetic. I don't agree with pulling either book from school libraries (or reading lists for that matter) and from what I remember of the thread, it was really only one poster who was making that case. That said, conservatives are trying to dismantle public education so that their kids aren't exposed to evolution in the classroom and have dramatic hissy fits over kids being taught about world religions as part of social studies curriculums.

But of course they get all up an arms if a parent in a single district has some ill-conceived desire to remove books using racial epithets because per usual, the only speech you muppets care about protecting are racial epithets.

Google how many fundies have tried to get books like the Harry Potter series removed from school libraries and get back to me.

The moment anything not in line with liberal groupthink is spoken yall immediately look to stifle it through bullying and or censorship…

Would that be anything like the crybully mob of whiny delusional wingnuts who pounce on any anti-Trump thread when they're not yammering about punishing members of the media that say unflattering things about Dear Leader?

Liberal hypocrisy would be comical were not so tragic…

And your cognitive dissonance would he hilarious if it wasn't the basis for you drones calling for the punishment of members of the media whose bias doesn't comport with your groupthink.

I'll let you go now, Atlantian...as I'm guessing you have a book burning to attend... We wouldn't want anyone else's children reading books you liberals find offensive or listening to music which would leave tipper gore aghast...

BURN! TIPPER GORE! If your done sipping prune juice and blathering about what Al Gore's dumbass wife did a generation ago, maybe you'd care to explain how it's not authoritarian to call for the punishment of members of the media for not supporting Donald Trump?

Nah, that's a real non-starter because you know deep down that it's wrong and so instead, you'll talk about anything else.

I thank God I have progressives to make my life decisions for me…
Oh no, I said God…
Did that trigger you?
I'm sooo sorry…
Let me try again:
I think allah I have progressive to make my life decisions for me..

Cool story. I'm an atheist and I have been since I was 11-12. I don't gaf who anyone thanks. As far as triggering goes, spare me that crap. I've personally triggered more Trump cult members on ATS than anyone. Nobody does butthurt whining like self-righteous, delusional wingnuts.

I have to agree that the MSM was involved in election tampering. The difference between what the MSM did and what the Russians are accused of doing is that the Russians provided the truth and the MSM provided half-truths, mis-truths and un-truths.

I don't think it's possible to punish the MSM via criminal channels; but we the people can and should punish them via our remote and/or keyboard! Better that we starve the beast...

Nor do I think we should punish them criminally, due to the repercussions it would have on our 1st amendment rights. It would be too easy for those in power to abuse the free flow of information based on what they want us to know -- or not know.

What?!?!

The Russians provided the base for a thousand fake news stories..

Pizza gate ring a bell??

What fake Donald trump story did the news put out??

That Russia was turning to get him elected??

Because they obviously were..

Didn't the president also campaign for Hillary as he was being paid by the American taxpayer? That seemed really strange to me.

The media did all they could to influence the outcome of the election, and they failed miserably. While there were some stuck at their teet, trust in the media fell and fell, and Trump played them for fools. It makes me think that this fake news narrative is all an attempt to save face.

The media may not have leaked any emails, but it is confirmed that they colluded with the DNC and the Clinton campaign. Donna Brazille, anyone?

Please, the media "colludes" with everyone. They report what they're told, and what press releases say. They often screen and go over questions in advance of interviews. This isn't anything new.

Knowing that is 100% factual, isn't that a much more direct influence to the public than Russia releasing leaked DNC e-mails? (If they really did)

One thing is for certain, question the double standards and it makes you an authoritarian. Just like they did with Trump, you can be called fascist, Hitler, authoritarian, while at the same time having not implemented anything of the sort. Rather, you're an authoritarian for asking a question.

I agree. I think the "Fake News" and "Russian Hacking" crap is all to save face. The Dems can't and won't admit its their own fault they failed. America got tired of their lying, cheating, bulls*it and voted accordingly. Dems also can't admit that a lot of their own party switched sides in this election. It wasn't that more republicans came out to vote, I think a lot of the Democratic party decided to change their vote. And those who were undecided made their choice clear. The American people are tired of the same old tired BS coming from their government. They decided to take a chance this election. It could end up being a cluster **ck or it could end up being the best thing in years. Only time will tell.

In what way could that be considered authoritarian? I don't think you even understand what the term means.

To hell with it, I can't even bring myself to quote the rest of your insipid post. Apparently any action of government you don't agree with is "authoritarian?" Lmao.

No wonder you can't recognize authoritarianism when you see it — you don't even know what it is.

There is no fundamental right of businesses (or individuals) to s# up the country or the planet in the name of profit. I'm sure if I drove a truck full of raw sewage to your house and dumped it on your driveway, you'd have a problem with it. I'm equally sure if I injected a buch of chemicals into the ground and contaminated your drinking water, you'd have a problem with that as well. In fact, I'm positive there are all sorts of environmental catastrophes that you'd have a problem with as long as your political brainwashing permitted you to do so.

Now you're back to whining about Wall Street regulation? I wish you lot would get on the same page about this s#. Clinton gave speeches to bankers and that's was bad. In fact, Clinton was the head of an evil globalist cabal according to every Trumpkin ever.

Thanks to this election and Trumpkins, I'll forever think of Alex Jones's bizarre pronounciation of globalist (globblelist) every time I see the word.

Now that Trump has appointedWall Street insiders, nada and here YOU are calling the regulation of banksters to keep them from crashing the economy and begging for bail outs to stave off utter collapse "authoritarian." SMFH.

The closest thing you have to a point is on gun control. There is unfortunately a signficant number of people on the left who are on the wrong side of this issue and many of them can be quite authoritarian in their calls to deprive others of their right to own firearms. You'll get no argument from me. Why? Because I know it's wrong and unlike you, I have enough of a capacity to think for myself and the required intellectual honesty to call it for what it is.

You on the other hand can't bring yourself to acknowledge how authoritarian it is to call for punishment of members of the media for being critical of Trump because you're weak.

So it isn't anything new to leak the debate questions to the person you want to win?

It probably isn't, for liberals.

I don't think the word collusion means what you think it means.

Sorry Atlantian,

I don't believe in your magic brings in the sky...

Save the cult, oops I mean religious chastising for your Muslim friends as such scenarios are wasted on me...

I appreciate your hard work and contributions to this site...I really do...

But often I feel sorrow for the amount of effort to which you apply your obtuse thought process from which emerges your [often] incoherent ramblings...

Progressivism is a disease born of the need of sophists such as yourself to control those of us with actual education or real world experience...and by education I mean the little letters following my name [and not yours]...not to discount your hours upon hours spent on your internet "research" from Wikipedia or huffingtonpost or salon.com...

I'm not in the mood to suffer fools today...I suppose I'm finally tired of yalls whining...

Congratulations....you are the[my] final liberal straw...

Even the Russians knew Hillary was a horrible choice.

I find it hilarious the Dems are eating their own.

If you voted for Hillary.......YOU LOST.

Try to learn how to lose. It is a sign of maturity.

You had 8 long miserable years.

Now sit down and play the quiet game.

The adults are back in control.

Trump said lots of stupid stuff, so got an unprecedented amount of free air-time.

Hell, CNN had two pro-Trump people blathering away nearly every time I turned on their channel. Along with two Pro-Hillary people arguing with them. CNN didn't give two craps who got elected -- they cared about their ratings.

Our media can be as biased as they like. It's called Freedom of the Press. However, the country has a vested interest in preventing foreign governments from dumping blatantly false propaganda on our citizens, or hacking our servers.

Obama has already started down this slippery slope by making this such a yuge deal.

Not really.

A lot of the false propaganda was created by a Hillary-supporting American, Jesten Coler. The fake news from Macedonia, Romania, and the US was about clicks and profit, not propaganda.

The DNC is not "our servers", because they are private organizations.
