A new gun control law barely passed in Nevada has for now been blocked - As it stands it is not acceptable or enforceable.

Histroy has shown that gun control not only does not work, but more often than not worsens gun problems, and subjects the public to more crime
and misery'.

Many Americans, some of whom do not even own a gun, will fight for the Second Ammendment as a matter of principle, the same principles that created and maintain the Constitution of the United States.

What we realize is many of the gun control advocates, such as Bloomberg from New York, who fostered and tried to push this law upon the people of Nevada for his own Liberal left wing agenda and not for the benefit of the people of Nevada or the United States - But Gun Control is people control and they will keep trying - And 'we' will keep figthng them.

Now back to the main srory:

"Nevada AG Blocks 'Universal Background Check' Firearms Law"

"The Nevada November ballot asked the state's voters to decide if they wanted to outlaw the private sale of firearms. Shall Chapter 202 of the Nevada Revised Statutes be amended to prohibit, except in certain circumstances, a person from selling or transferring a firearm to another person unless a federally-licensed dealer first conducts a federal background check on the potential buyer or transferee? The opinion issued by the office of Republican Attorney General Adam Laxalt left gun enthusiasts elated and proponents of background checks reeling from the blow of another setback — the second since 2013 when a bill requiring universal screenings was passed by the Legislature but vetoed by Gov. Brian Sandoval. ..".

"“The Background Check Act mandates that the FBI conduct all background checks for personal transfers,” Monica Moazez, spokeswoman for the attorney general’s office, said in a statement. “The FBI, on Dec. 14, informed the Department of Public Safety that it will not conduct these background checks."

Laxalt found the checks “unenforceable” because the Background Check Act “grants the Nevada Department of Public Safety no authority to perform the private-party checks required by the Act.” Instead, it requires “intermediaries” to run the checks through the FBI background check database. These “intermediaries” would be licensed firearms dealers.

“Accordingly, the official Attorney General Opinion concludes that without this central feature … the Background Check Act cannot commence.”

Already posted, but the anti gun agenda needs to be exposed as often as possible, so I'll give it a star and flag anyway.

Another failure from the agenda.

Michael Bloomberg lost $20 million too !!

Nevada has a knack for these kinds of boondoggles.

We just voted out some similar nonsense up here in maine.
Impossible to enforce, but easily miss used to charge firearm owners with crimes and forcefully remove their right to bear arms.
Failed by a scary close margin, too... It will be back.
