Matt Drudge: Is the US government attacking DRUDGE REPORT?

Possible censorship/retaliation from the left? Matt Drudge is a well known journalist, and for him to tweet something like this is no joke.

A tweet from conservative media icon Matt Drudge's verified Twitter account Thursday night appeared to accuse the government of interfering with his website, DrudgeReport.com, just hours after the Barack Obama administration announced new sanctions against Russia over election hacking.

"Is the US government attacking DRUDGE REPORT? Biggest DDoS since site's inception. VERY suspicious routing [and timing]," the tweet to Drudge's 457,000 followers read. I really hope it isn't the US gov doing it. I'm sad to say I wouldn't totally be surprised.

Don’t take it seriously, its drudge stunt. His page reloads every 30 sec. or so and of course adding the amounts of people who are already there every 30 sec.

Statistically speaking this simple trick makes people goes on the site to check out… and be added to the amount of visitors!
