True Enlightenment

Secrets, Forbidden Knowledge, Godlike Knowledge, Religion. All of this are not worthy of effort just to have a grab.
They're bull#. Knowledge suddenly dies with us. We are stupid people for "dreaming" of being something. When we can just be ourselves. Humans. Who "reproduce". Hunt for food. Live life. Live in the moment. Fight. Love. That's all we do. And the rest of these are just bull# we built with ourselves. They're not worthy of our time. It's just illusions. That wants to make us think they are "worthy" and valuable. When what really just matters is living the moment "carefree".

We just made our lives complicated. When in fact, they are just burdens to our mind and soul

That will hit many extremes; as mindless self indulgence... temper it with compassion and empathy to bring it full circle.

Never understood the purpose of "enlightenment"...what happens then exactly? Do we glow with ethereal spookiness wandering the globe looking down on the "little people"? There are enough meglomaniacs on the planet we dont' need more

Let's face it, some of us on the planet spend a lifetime searching, gathering all the knowledge we can, waiting for that kerching moment of enlightenment, then die. Must be a real shock for some

Ever notice? When the discussion of true enlightenment comes up that those that know nothing about the word or process do the most nay-saying?

Meditation toward enlightenment requires self-discipline. You don't need to "know" anything except to have any one of many meditation styles. Practice enough and insights will come about yourself and the universe that will absolutely astound you. Or you can drink, use drugs, watch TV and wonder why life is so meaningless unless you are doing something to block that constant, low level of suffering.

But can you say specifically just what the purpose of it is? Does it lead to anything? If those that created us wanted us to reach this magical enlightenment why not just make us already enlightened?

Oh but that is the case... babies are a blank slate and then concept land and grasping and clinging and all of that blah blah blah is empty concepts like moths circling a flame chasing illusory concepts.

Meditation can get one back to that state of being, seeing without definition... hearing, without labeling... all the stuff you do or know how to do requires no thought to perform the function... it's just an excess baggage along for the ride headphones that chatter and babble away missing everything happening and occuring not hearing or really feeling what a person is saying.

Takes a lot of work and practice, but peace is the result simply being not feeling apart or different than anything or anyone just connected.
