I was chatting to an Israeli from Jerusalem the other day and he reckoned there was no need for a two state solution as the remaining muslims in Judea and Samaria would be converted back to Judaism in the near future. Many so called Palestinians were actually Jews anyway and only recently converted to Islam. Using his logic one can understand how a one state solution is workable.

Assimilate or die , resistance is futile.

Seems workable.

The US abstained from the vote , 14 other world leaders voted for the resolution , why is it Obama is to blame here ?

Because the united states has veto power. Meaning if they veto it its done abstaining allowed the vote to occur.

Wouldn't want a free and democratic vote on an important issue would we.

Never happen you couldn't form a government that both sides agree on and well there isn't going to be some mass conversion either.

Well that's all good then.

All Muslims must convert to Judaism before there is peace? It will be a cold day in hell before that happens.

Also read today that New Zealand have been told that their support for the resolution passed at the U.N last week is deemed a declaration of war. Netanyahu is deluded along with all the other Zionists.

Are you implying that the UN is a democracy?

The vote was democratic although Netanyahu did his best to stop it along with his bullyboy Trump.

The diplomatic drama unfolded over the Christmas holiday, with twists and turns unusual even for the serpentine path followed by Netanyahu’s relationship with a Democratic president who opposes settlement building.

On Thursday, Netanyahu successfully lobbied Egypt, which proposed the draft resolution, to withdraw it - enlisting the help of President-elect Trump to persuade Cairo to drop the bid.
On Thursday, Netanyahu successfully lobbied Egypt, which proposed the draft resolution, to withdraw it - enlisting the help of President-elect Trump to persuade Cairo to drop the bid.
But the Israeli leader was ultimately outmaneuvered at the United Nations, where New Zealand, Venezuela, Senegal and Malaysia, resubmitted the proposal a day later.

It passed 14-0, with an abstention from the United States, withholding Washington’s traditional use of its veto to protect Israel at the world body in what was widely seen as a parting shot by Obama against Netanyahu and his settlement policy.

Ambush Israel?

More like show them some common sense and logic in regards to humanity.

This is all a dog and pony show anyways...Israel will be fine

What worries me is what they are using this story distract us from?
Edit:

Nations get hit by terrorists when Israel doesn't get its way, stay safe.

Netanyahu's currently being investigated for bribery and fraud. He's been under a 9 month or so inquiry, but it escalated into a full scale criminal investigation on Dec 26th.

A months-long inquiry into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s affairs took a new twist on Monday, with police reportedly convinced that they will be able to open a full-blown criminal investigation against him in the next few days.

Report: Netanyahu to be investigated for bribery, fraud

So what better way to distract from an internal crisis?

Palestinians don't exist never have it was a region not a country. Look at history you quickly see the PLO was created by Yasser Arafat. Many realize in the middle east this was a creation by the arab league. And every now and then they told the truth about the matter.

Syrian dictator Hafez Assad (father of the present dictator) told PLO leader Yasser Arafat, “You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria.” Don’t you think the media should finally get the point: Palestinian people do not exist except as a political ploy.

Hamas even admitted that the people in charge were Egyptians ever wonder why Egypt doesn't allow the Palestinian's into Egypt and built a wall with guards. Gaza is surrounded not because of Israel but because of Egypt. Israel is the only country that allows them into there territory the only country that sends them supplies and the only country that gives them electricity. The arab countries have walled them off yet claim to want to help the Palestinian's. Does that make any sense the biggest thing the arabs could do is destroy the walls they built allowing them to enter there country and that would immediately take care of a huge part of the problem giving them access to all kinds of stuff. People who are sucked in without looking at history can say oh the evil Israelis caused this. Though they are not completely blame free by any means they didn't start the situation they are dealing with . Jordan Syria and Egypt created the palistinians. In fact most of what we call Palestinian's are in fact migrants from Jordan and Syria and lebanon. The crises started when migrants came to isreal looking for jobs. During the Arab Israeli war many arabs tried to return to there countries only to be treated as a invasion force and sent to camps in Jordan and Syria. The Israeli's mistake in this was big though they used the war as an excuse to convince arabs to leave the country. But then when the neighboring arab countries wouldn't allow them entry they did nothing. This forced the UN to step in setting up refugee camps wich at the time was thought to be only temporary until they could be returned to there countries. Well that never happened and now they have a huge group of people stuck in a very small area which of course leads to terrorism and hatred. Had they allowed these people to reintegrate back in society as they were before the one state solution would have been easy. Even today many muslims living in Israel consider themselves Israeli citizens. Its this division they created that caused problems. But the ultimate blame is the arab league for allowing this to continue for decades for political reasons.

While the "security council" exists the UN is in no way a "democracy".

And you are correct; had trump been in office the US would have vetoed the resolution as Israel is our strongest ally in the region.(or is that actually up for debate these days?)

LOL Yeah but you know most politicians reach a point where they become untouchable. Though to Israel's credit, they have arrested and convicted high level politicians before.

Let's play with your propaganda for a minute.

So you're suggesting people born in Palestine since 1948 don't exist?

I didn't read the rest of your post because, forgive me, a wall of Hasbara text is likely to make me vomit.

Maybe seo. But in a few weeks Mr Whippy and Obama will all be gone, while Netanyahu and his governmnet will still be in power with massive backing from Trump. Israel has never had it so good.
