But to add to duality. There's a lot of ancient images of eagle's/Avians, demigods, even angels wrestling or striking down snakes and reptiles. I think this imagery represents the conflict between the lower and Higher selves, the duality. Kinda like the Chakra and Kundalini stuff. I think the lesson is finding harmony between the two and merging the lower with the higher self. Kinda like the Serpent and the bird having a baby. Winged Serpent anyone?
