I like how most of the young children in that picture _know_ that kid doesn't know what the hell he is doing. They are all crowding in behind him to be in the least danger. The one kid in class who doesn't know how to handle a firearm is handling a firearm. These days it's all of them.

How have they got along in catastrophes in the past? Food stockpiles are just common sense for any political faction.

No it's not true. Some Americans do and some don't. There's no liberal or conservative angle about it. Ironically, many "treehugger" progressives get ridiculed for having urban gardens, strictly organic gardens, etc. Those obviously produce stockpiles of food.

Squirrels store nuts, its what they do.

Funny how progressives are so anti-gun, yet now they are afraid of their government and may have to re-examine that line of thinking.

I think the difference is that Conservatives are almost always afraid of their government or what their government might do and understand that the second amendment gives them the opportunity to defend themselves.

Another interesting point, let's say Trump decides to round up gays and non-whites to put them into detention centers. I and many armed conservatives would be the first ones to stand up and defend them, because regardless of our opinions on certain subjects or lifestyles we recognize that those actions would be wrong and too far over the line to stand.

A new cold war was declared today. All people should just enjoy what little peace we have this Christmas. This time it will go full escalation with mighty men like trump and putin ruling the world.
