What a wonderful Birthday party for your Dad! Happy Birthday Dad!

For years, it was so hard having family gatherings without my Dad and seeing Mom without him. Though I think of both my Parents with great love, Mom's passing was more recent and still seems new to me. I know you miss her. I miss mine too. We will always have our precious memories to hold on to.

I have a pic of my Mom sitting in a wicker chair as a child with little button up boots. So awesome! Dad has some cool ones of himself in his Navy uniform. There are tons of amazing photos of them as they grew up, got married, had children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. And never in my life have I seen a love as deep and true as theirs.

I was laughing as I I read this. My dad didn't want to kill anyone . He went to join the Navy when the Japanese bombed Pearl harbor. He is a quiet man stayed composed through ordeal. He became a medic. and saved many patients . God made an allowance, and kept him safe
