I was just messing about to entertain our two boys...
The hat is my Aussie bush-hat turned side-ways and the Mexican bandito outfit is just a cheap T-Shirt! But it was very funny at the time!! Especially with my Old-Timer Miner '49'er voice impersonation!!! "Dag-Nabbit, Cotton-Pickin' Varmints!!" ROFL

Stinky Pete was a character from Toy Story, he was an Ole Miner who wore his hat sideways like that...


If you guys really don't like the avatar, I'll change it... but I thought it was kinda fun!

The kids are still on holiday, so the house feels like it's been one big long weekend!!!

And hello to you too.. I'm doing well. I hope you feel better soon. I have a great tea that helps with colds.... too bad you are there and I am here. Maybe the Shed has some of the herbs.... *looks around for a pantry, finds a large cupboard full of herbs and spices* There we go! *rummages around for marshmallow root, licorice root, ginger, sage, etc.*

Oh my this is hilarious! I love it! I personally play drums, but am very partial to bass. I even tried to learn it at one time (my son plays). I gave up though. I always wished there were drum solos and bass solos in songs. There's always that stinkin guitar solo!

That was a wonderful read. I know you were replying to Gordi, but I found it very interesting, and am thankful you shared.

I just looked out the window and saw it peeping over the rooftops.

This song was sung every morning by the Cherokees. It might still be by the more traditional people who had somehow managed to hold on to their ways.

Hi Ellie,
Yeah that vid was pretty good.

I played drums for over 25 years, but was also a frustrated singer/songwriter/guitarist.
It's only recently, maybe over the last 3 or 4 years, that I've come out of my shell to play guitar and sing in front of others instead of hiding behind my drumkit!

I front my own little folksy duo called "BlonnaHooley" here in Scotland, and I gave up drumming just over a year ago (but still have my kits) to pursue that a bit more.
Of course, I've been working with our own Errollorre (Tom) here in the shed on a couple of projects recently, and as I understand it... I will have to come up with an idea for our next venture soon?? LOL

You'd be more than welcome to join us? You too John?? or any other Shedicians!
Just let Tom or I know and we'll sort it out!
