Looking good

I put some money down for rent for a house yesterday. I wasn't able to pay all of it because the bank has a cut off on money taken out of ATMs. Sucks but oh well. The landlord understood and said he'd meet me today for the rest.

The place hadn't been cleaned and it's somewhat of a mess. Some things need fixed. The heat was turned off and the pipes were frozen. Because of that he dropped the deposit $300 and waived the dog rent. The power is turned on sometime today and I'm going to put a space heater I found there on the pipes and thaw them out. SLOWLY so they don't break. The gas is turned on tomorrow so the furnace will be on. Water is the main thing I'm worried about because they said it's on. I need it running so I can move in. Anywho, I'll try to get video of before and after the cleaning.

Oh, one thing I like about the house is it's close to a lot of stuff. It's walking distance from a lot of potential jobs.

Most likely tomorrow once the gas is turned on. It's cold in there now.

Also, that comment about the carpets reminds me of The Big Lebowski. A guy peed on the Dude's rug. That rug really tied the room together.

With any luck it will be Saturday at the latest. I have to see about the water so I can clean the place. Once the water is flowing I can move in.
