more electors tried to defect from Hillary Clinton Monday than from Trump, by a count of seven to two, as of Monday afternoon

So after all this hoopla over stopping Trump at the Electoral College vote because every one sees him as unfit to be president (for many reasons)...

... Clinton losses (or could have lost; had it been allowed) more votes between election day and now.

Does this further support Trump's mandate?

Maybe it will be enough to make the left realize this is how it's going to be for the next 4.
It sure would be nice to have them get over this and let us all get back to regular ATS.
The diaper supply is running dangerously low.

I don't think Trump has much of a mandate, but it IS funny that there were more Clinton defectors than Trump defectors. Those protests obviously did some good!

I think we can safely say that HRC is the worst modern day candidate ever

And what is regular ATS?

Making drive-by partisan shots against the left - in this case, diaper supply?

Really?

OK guys, now with all they hype going on with the Dems distracting us, What were they trying to hide?

What kind of stuff did Obama sign during this time that we were watching the conflict. I know we were distracted on purpose.

Started with the vote recount produced by Jill Al FrankenStein

The continued disaster that is Syria? That place is getting worse exponentially by the day and Obama is partly responsible.

His foreign policy has been a disaster and people in the UN and else where who would normaly be natural allies of his have been harsh the last few days.

It was Washington and Texas that had "successful" flips. Washington cast two votes for Colin Powell. If Colin Powell had run, I'm over 90% certain I would have voted for him instead of Trump. Just sayin' that for me it was not the Dems who were the issue; it was Hillary.

I'm thinkin' you're being just a tad bit selective in your outrage...

The drive byes are virtually 50-50 by now.

I agree it was about Hillary.

But what I meant was neither of them, esp Hill with all the hype, gained a vote

The Dems stacked the deck to have Clinton run to represent them. How can there be an issue with Clinton and not an issue with the overall party?

They didn't attempt to vote for Trump as opposed to Cinton, though. They attempted to vote for Kasich, Sanders, Paul,Powell or Faith Spotted Eagle.

That does not further Trump's mandate.

Stands to reason since neither Trump or Clinton got 50% of the popular vote.

They aren't 50-50. The right is LOUDER on ATS and they jump in on unrelated threads with politics constantly.
I can report more, if you like.

Over 48% for Clinton is close.

The NYT was right on these numbers :

By the time all the ballots are counted, she seems likely to be ahead by more than 2 million votes and more than 1.5 percentage points, according to my Times colleague Nate Cohn. She will have won by a wider percentage margin than not only Al Gore in 2000 but also Richard Nixon in 1968 and John F. Kennedy in 1960.

Also, Trump's EC margin was the 11th smallest in the history of the country.

By the hair of his...well hair of his is enough in this example.
