As a side note to the political comments, it's probably worth having your home's water tested. I've done this every place I've lived in for any length
of time (well, after the Army period). Generally, it'll be ok and match the city's analysis (they have to provide you with this if you ask). But not
always.
Huntsville had really bad water in terms of contamination they weren't owning up to. Madison did as well. Had to put in RO filters both places, and at
work.
Both Houses of Bedlam have wells, and there's damn near nothing in the water at all. In fact, I'm going to have to add a neutralizer to the Florida
house because there's no carbonates, which makes the water acidic. Plenty of carbonates in the Georgia family house well. Makes for good beer brewing.
But neither place has any metal content except silicon and a smidge of iron and copper, but just a trace. No detectable heavy metals, petroleum, or
pesticides. No radioactive trace elements.
