Does he really not need to be evaluated?

I'd be shocked if any president in the last 30+ years wasn't checked out regularly.

I think we need emergency evaluation for those calling for emergency evaluation of others.

This thread really hurt my brain.

The Hillary deflections and partisan trolling derailed this real quick.

I LOVE the Left's almost daily attempts to embarrass themselves after having lost the election so definitively.

Stay silly, Lefties.

We know Trump is a bit of a psychopath but we know Hillary was also a bit of a psychopath. Trump is just a different kind of psychopath. Actually anyone who would want to be president is a little crazy. It is a prison sentence, guards all around all day long and people wishing to kill you because you are the president. Would any sane person want to be president?

I love the new trend of partisan fanboys daily attempts to embarrass "the other side," because partanship > country and we Americans act like spoiled kids in fourth grade who can't get along.

Stay ignorant, those who still buy into the partisan paradigm. Maybe one day the people will wake up and see the sham for what it is. But first - we have to take off the red or blue sunglasses and I know the partisan fanboys are unable to do so. Because we're children.

Unfortunately it's too late. Enough people thought that Trump's bizarre, irrational, delusional, and just mean-spirited behavior was "normal" enough to qualify him for the highest office in the land. Thanks to the democratic process, crazy is now "the new normal."

Lest we forget.

You don't need a Psych evaluation. That man is as sociopathic as they come. Overt narcissist, and a compulsive liar. When backed into a corner, he will dance around the truth with word salads of prepositions and conjunctions in an attempt to cognitive fatigue you..

(New term: Cognitive fatigue. To rattle on and on with pointless talking points, and random sentences, consciously shifting subjects, and twisting words in an attempt to mentally tire out the victim. Once the victim is tired out, he will no longer employ the elements of reason. That is cognitive fatigue and politicians use it all the time Sociopaths wield it like Excalibur and Donald is a master at it.)

Yup, you nailed Obama with this post. I've been saying it for years

Donald is worse though and more obvious than Obama. Donald talks so fast so you notice the changes. Obama does a lot of pauses and when he is reall backed into a corner, or if he loses control of a situation, his pitch tends to rise as he ends his sentences.

But donald is still worse though because he doesn't even try to hide it. He has no shame what so ever.

If trump was mentally unfit as a person it would be incredibly unlikely that he could build his name and fortune.

His business success means that he is not impulsive and prone to irrational behavior. Any of those claims can be thrown out so much so that the accuser is the one discredited.

Claims of sociopathy can also be thrown out. Sociopaths could also not build a business. They are too criminal, too reckless, too inept, too damaged due to their childhoods.

Psychopathy and narcissism are the two that can have some credibility. Interestingly these two disorders are always brought up when talking about politicians. Psychologists bring up large swaths of Congress as narcissist and leaders like Tony Blair and Lydon B Johnson as Psychopaths.
We see the psychopathy and narcissism in our beloved HRC as well, lying to Congress, totally ignoring the emails showing her psychopathy, controlling the talking heads to do her bidding, thinking calling half of trump supporters deplorables would have zero effect, Hugging a child while she had "pneunomia", that is psychopathy, no regard for other people.

At the end of the day these psychopaths and narcissist, essentially control freaks, are just mad they got played by a better version of themselves.

Most people have no idea at all of the strength of the law regarding matters of mental hygeine / health . If you ever do go to room 101 in the real world , you will sit with psychiatrists .
No judge , jury , police , lawyer , or lawyer or internet access will apply to your stay with them . You will have no rights but those given by law in this matter and these can be forced away from you circumstancially .
Its about the most dangerous aspect of modern society , that people imagine psychiatry is somehow scientific

Wait. After everything we've seenthe past few weeks, people are actually buying this?

Lel, the gullible masses.

Buying what? People bought into "pizzagate," "Hillary has a double," "Hillary's doctors are being murdered," etc, etc. People are boundlessly credulous: just look who they handed the nuclear codes to.

LOL, you are really going to have to let this one go. It's not healthy for you at all. Nuclear codes. Hillary was warming up the silos and luckily, she was shown the door, so we don't have to worry about glowing quite this quick. But Trump (who ins't in office yet) will have lots of opportunities to learn about the job, and become either a laughing stock, or a good president. But the speculation and seeming desire to see the US fail is something that needs to stop. You don't get any prizes for your rhetoric. WE are in this together. And like it or not, Trump will be president. If it really, really upsets you, talk to the DNC and ask them to be a bit more honest and pick a candidate who isn't a lying bitch next time.

And in the meantime, you will just continue to cry about the right. Just like someone who is smart enough to see past the left/right paradigm. [/sarc]

Google terms so you do not look like an idiot.

Sociopaths tend to be nervous and easily agitated. They are volatile and prone to emotional outbursts, including fits of rage. They are likely to be uneducated and live on the fringes of society, unable to hold down a steady job or stay in one place for very long. It is difficult but not impossible for sociopaths to form attachments with others. Many sociopaths are able to form an attachment to a particular individual or group, although they have no regard for society in general or its rules. In the eyes of others, sociopaths will appear to be very disturbed. Any crimes committed by a sociopath, including murder, will tend to be haphazard, disorganized and spontaneous rather than planned.

Psychopaths, on the other hand, are unable to form emotional attachments or feel real empathy with others, although they often have disarming or even charming personalities. Psychopaths are very manipulative and can easily gain people’s trust. They learn to mimic emotions, despite their inability to actually feel them, and will appear normal to unsuspecting people. Psychopaths are often well educated and hold steady jobs. Some are so good at manipulation and mimicry that they have families and other long-term relationships without those around them ever suspecting their true nature.

You bring up a good point here. Anyone of us can have someone detained against their will by using a 5150 clause that we feel they are dangerous to themselves and others. It is a 72 hour hold in a psych ward for "observation".

Far as I know...you do that to someone...they can't just say no...they GO. NOW. Escorted by law enforcement...and yes, against their personal will.

I did that once to my guitar player...later (while in there)...he said he was gonna get out and kill me...But, many months after and out...he also said that I saved his life that night.
