Ugh, god they're ugly and could the seller bother to clean them up because I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole! And damn, they sure do not look comfy at all.

$300 bucks? I'd rather buy a recliner.

Very cool stuff.
I wish I could fit it in. Good luck on selling it.

I'm not selling it. I wish I could buy them.

If you read the OP, that was a shot at me. I don't appreciate it.

the vacuum knows no bounds.

'Nice' is a matter of of opinion for sure.
Possibly the most sinister looking chairs I've seen in my life.
Whatever floats your boat I guess, but I'd think twice about the chair with stains that I imagine were caused by someone pissing their pants as they exhaled their last breath lol
Yuck.

Creepy, yes!
Interesting (IMO) find while searching for their value. The building they were salvaged from was completed in 1909.

The Masonic temple in downtown Dunkirk, New York is almost gone. The 1909 building was heavily damaged by an electrical fire back in February. While some local residents and Dunkirk's mayor sought a way to at least save the facade of the historic building, engineers determined it was too heavily damaged to remain standing.

They've increased the price of the chairs for the ebay market to $450

Interesting back story

Pity they couldn't save the facade, even more creepy how the chairs survived!

They must have been set up in the basement (dungeon).
The Mason knows all about those basements!

Nice Gothic church piece.
I'm especially impressed by how it is upholstered with the Shroud Of Turin.

It is possibly the most uncomfortable chair ever made.

That one was from a brownstone in Manhattan, I'm not a fan of ecclesiastical gothic revival.

I used the real one, not that copy that the church has.

Well if they'd untied the bonds of whoever was trapped in them they wouldn't have peed on them.

Nothing like plopping your butt down on the face of our Lord and Savior at the end of a hard day.

P.S. At least the church still has a nice DaVinci.
