Obama is trying to influence the electors.
He is doing is subtly, just as he did in his press conference yesterday.
His wife did the same thing in her interview with Oprah.

He did the same thing with the FBI in the Clinton investigation.

He talks out of both sides of his mouth.
He talks big in a PC way, then mumbles how he really feels in an effort to subliminally influence events.

Just his opinion and opinions are like you know what.

He is ignoring that with that policy, a small group of states could decide every election. Even if 35 states disagreed with them 100% it would not matter. The founding members recognized the flaw and it's the reason why it was set up that way. Keep power balanced. NOBODY has all the power, no small group has ALL THE POWER. NOBODY HAS ALL THE POWER.

The US is a country of states. Not a country of a small handful of large cities that boss everyone else around.

No, he's not ignoring it. That's why he said it's a system that disadvantages democrats.

Well that is a Democratic flaw not an electoral flaw. The DNC chose to concentrate all their power in big cities and borders where illegals migrate. The US is not designed to work under those conditions of concentrated power based off of body count. Attempt to go that route and you will fail and that is exactly what happened. Their big cities are also failing. Detroit, Chicago, Philly, LA, Baltimore, New Jersey...on and on. All failing. High taxes, crime, no jobs. The rest of the county spoke up and said no way.

Reasonable people see it that way.

But has anything about the end of this election cycle led you to believe they are reasonable?

The electoral college will be around for at least a couple hundred more years.

Twice in 16 years the GOP have lost the Popular vote yet still won the presidency. I have to say I agree with Obama on this one.

Doesn't surprise me Obama has done nothing , but try to undermine the constitution since he got in office.

I can't wait to see how history is written about him. He'll most likely be the forgotten chapter.

Well that just means Democrats have failed to spread themselves into wider areas !!

Cal-IF-ornia doesn't have a monopoly on the whole U.S.

Did you not see the electoral map after this election? 90% of it was covered in red. What Obama is saying is that the 10% of it that was blue, a spot on the west coast and a spot on the east coast, should override the 90% that was in red. Why in the hell should parts of 2 states dictate who the president is just because they have more people in them. You can't go by popular vote when the population of 2 states will determine the outcome every time. How f'ing dense can people be.

Here ya go. Look at those pics and then tell me how in the hell you could possibly think the "blue" should have won.

Very, very well illustrated point. Sums up the entire situation to a T.

Go one move back with black to play and black has an easy win with ...Nxe4! Followed by a clever pawn march.

See, they could have won easily, if they just saw that white's priesthood was en prise. (I speak of the Republicans for those who missed it)

Leave it to black to not attack when it should and attack what it shouldn't...

When you're ahead material, unless there is a riposte tactic, exchange down.

By that, I mean I never heard one solution to any problems from Obama or Hillary, but Trump had an answer for almost everything, regardless if it's the right answer or not.

As chess teaches us, it is better to have a bad plan than to have none at all.

Each state has its own popular vote. Trump won 30 of those to Clinton's 20.

Our government is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy. I would expect a constitutional lawyer to understand that concept.

Well if the electoral college comes in on Monday and chucks Trump for Hillary I would like to see the reaction.

As the grapes continue to rot on the vines, pResident Obama makes a weird comment about the Electoral College system.

He says it's a vestige of an earlier version of America !!!

Don't you know, America isn't what you think.

The state of Texas seceded from the union in 1861, so isn't really legally in the union.

History 1861

The United States currently exists in a state of paradox:

What's wrong with this picture? Either the Supreme Court was wrong in claiming Texas never actually left the Union (they were — see below), or the Executive (President Grant) was wrong in "readmitting" a state that, according to the Supreme Court, had never left. Both can't be logically or legally true.

www.texassecede.com...

Everything you think you know about the Constitution and the Union, is wrong.

It's all made up, covered over, the contradictions that make legally binding resolutions "null and void" supressed, and hidden from the average Joe.

There is no legal America.

It's all in the mind.

He is absolutely correct. I doubt there are any on the right with enough mental horsepower to understand the topic. Doesn't ,alter to me who wins, the ec has outlived it's intended purpose.

No, he isn't.

You mean the original intent of the Founders and their ideas for sovereign States? We understand it just fine. It flies in the face of central planning and a strong federal government, something that Obama and other socialistic progressives think would be better.

And they are wrong about that too.

Doesn't ,alter to me who wins, the ec has outlived it's intended purpose.

If anything, the Electoral College has demonstrated the brilliance of the Founders to forsee the weakmindedness of foolish quislings.
