The left gave 1.2 billion dollars to Hillary.

Now they're all broke.

Some might even have to get. . . . . jobs.

We definitely got the "change" part, oh boy did we, but maybe y'all just hadn't gotten around to the 'hope' part yet, right? We got the quasi-apartheid, the kill the cops and the rioting in the streets of fire

None of that's is Obama's fault, it was caused by police shootings, many of whom are conservatives.

And the more I think about it....

Oh the irony of your statement! How ironic it is you would point out that many of those in "law enforcement" are conservatives!

By your statement, then you must obviously conclude most of those in the profession "law breaking" are liberals, right?

How ironic!

We get all our troops out of Afghanistan and I missed it? Didn't Dear Leader just decide to send more troops to Syria?

An opinion by a blogger?
Look, you can cry wolf all you want, but the fact remains, Trump has done nothing yet. Obama on the other hand, is a dismal failure. I know the Liberals think he walks on water, but those of us who live in reality, know that all his claims of job creation are BS. They are nothing but low wage, part time McJobs that would never lead to a career.
Yeah, he changed America, but if he and the Democrats did such a good job......why did the Democrats just lose on a massive scale?
Now, lemme hear how it's all about Racism.

I'm thinking Michelle's affliction is something different...

It is a malady known as "Occular Rectitis" in medical parlance.

This is when the nerves in your eyes get crossed with the nerves in your ass and give you a generally S#tty outlook on life.

Oh my God. I'd ask if you're serious, but I'm pretty sure you are. You think the roads are going to instantly become unpaved? That the sewers will just ..what?.. disappear? That the garbage men will just stop?
Sounds like you need to talk to your local city council, instead of screaming about the antichirst. Does religious panic make you feel better?

This is our last war, because we are never leaving. You are correct to point that out. Peace is a hope that is gone for sure. But, I still like flushing toilets, wearing jeans, birth control that allows good sex, and the net. And cell phones.

Old people aren't going to eat dog food. They are going to be processed into dog food. It's far more profitable. Learn to make your fear-porn and propaganda more dystopian.

Old people were homeless and hungry under the last administration and it was sunshine and rainbows. The new guy has to be 1000x worse and evil, especially if you want to hang the "anti-Christ" flag up.

Think bigger. Camps for non-Christians. Camps for LGBT. Camps dissenters. Camps are always a favorite. No campfires and marshmallows though.

Silence the media. Silence the protesters. Silence those that disagree with him. Ignore the media silence of democrat corruption or "fake news campaign" though, that's legit.

Hope this helps.

I'm gonna have to agree with Michelle, especially when it comes to women's reproductive and health issues. What with the promise to immediately repeal Obamacare, millions of women are going to lose their health care and access to affordable birth control. As well as the religious right salivating over the possibility of overturning Roe V Wade, and the Bible Belt states constantly chipping away at and eroding women's access safe and affordable abortions, think things look pretty hopeless for millions of women and their families.

Then of course there's the LGBTQ community that's at risk as well. The push to appoint SCOTUS judges that will overturn same sex marriage is also a high priority for those who are in power now, and they have the means to make that happen. So, sat goodbye to "hope" for those men and women looking for social equality any time soon! Not to mention the promise to legislate legalized LGBTQ discrimination!

The social safety net that holds up our most vulnerable Americans is also at risk, as Paul Ryan, with Trump's blessing, eyes the privatization of Social Security and Medicare, and our labor leaders nix minimum wage requirements while making billion dollar back rooms deals, cutting our workers and unions short.

Trump has appointed inexperienced crony cabinet heads, who have vowed to destroy their departments, like Rick Perry as Energy Sec., or Ben Carson as HUD Sec., who doesn't have a clue about what his department even does, let alone how to stave off the wolves after Dodd/Frank is repealed, as promised. Hope for low income families finding affordable housing that they can KEEP, is also looking pretty darn hopeless!

Don't even get me started on the Home School nutter in charge of Public Education! The future is looking pretty hopeless under Trump's administration, indeed!

The context of my post was in response to another poster about when American started its downfall.

I am involved in my local politics but I don't have any representation, but they let me come anyway. And I see the councils fight every meeting over how to keep our schools and policeman funded because of state cuts. But, that's what they voted for so I just sit and listen to them bicker.

The idea that Obama brought hope was always a total joke. False hope is a very bad thing, and its good that its gone. I remember people approaching me and asking if I was going to vote for Obama. I told them that Obama is a politician and politicians cannot help economies... they have never brought positive change and never will. The more they want to change things, the more they screw up everything. Even if Trump is all his followers wish, the best he can do is stop the government growing for four to eight years, but its already so big it will probably collapse even holding the size steady as it is.

The moment black people and poor people count on each other instead of the government and decide to solve their own problems with hard work, creativity, and sheer will power, the moment they can forget about stupid politicians and their worthless false hope.

Gawd, some of the posts in this thread this morning are just killin' me!! LOL

I LOVE the priorities here...

1. Flushing toilets (though I'd rank that one pretty high too)
2. jeans
3. birth control/sex
4. net
5. cell phones

I would have figured for sure that #3 and #5 would have been swapped!

ETA...you know how to drive a woman INSANE don't you???? Answer: Don't let her look at her phone after she receives a text!!

Hey. I can only grow a chin beard. Shaved the sides of my face thousands of times so I wouldn't look like a Gung Fu master. If I only had epicanthic folds, I would look sensible.

But that doesn't make me a Democrat.

My great aunt used to insult the neighborhood bullies by yelling, in the sunniest southern accent: "Go'wn, ge'ouwa heeah you Demuh-Kratt!"

She always gave me those ice pops that come in a plastic sheath. It was so hot out that they promptly turned into 2oz. of sugar water. I hated it.

She meant well, I think. Probably because her dogs were man-eating and I always managed to kick them off my bleeding leg when I rode by her house set on a dirt road on my bike.

I still turned out conservative leaning. Maybe it's Stockholm syndrome, I don't know.

But then I get around liberals and think, "Hot sugar water and Rottweilers are much easier to deal with."

Bernie Sanders and other senators calling for her (The Secretary of Education) to pay her fines for election violations in 2008.

WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Senators Tom Udall (D-N.M.), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) announced that they are calling on President-elect Trump's nominee for Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, to ensure payment of the $5.3 million in fines and penalties owed by DeVos’ All Children Matter Political Action Committee (PAC) for campaign finance violations dating back to 2008. All Children Matter broke Ohio election law by illegally funneling $870,000 in contributions from its nationwide PAC to its Ohio affiliate – and accordingly, the state of Ohio levied a record fine of more than $5 million against DeVos’ group. Yet nearly a decade later, the PAC has not paid the debts for its illegal activities.

When you read "All Children Matter", it's more accurate to comprehend she means "all WHITE children matter."
Just sayin.
