Seems like alot of people have missed the news. Trump won. Hillary lost. It's over!

Regardless of which side you chose, it doesn't matter because the ballots have been counted and there's a definitive winnner. Trump.

Now the left and the msm want you to believe that the Russians are the reason Hillary lost and Trump won. Okay..let's play what-if.

Russia hacks the DNC and we find out how crooked the left is. Trump wins in an electoral college landslide. Are the Russians to blame for hacking or for providing us with the facts? Why is George Soros allowed to interfere if the Russians cant?

Either way, let's move on and support our President Elect and come together as Americans now. There's no reason for fighting with one another anymore. The game is over.

While I agree with you, togetherness ain't gonna happen.

Too much hatred and animosity exists. We're divided and other than an alien invasion, nothing will unite us.

It's sad because we all care about our families and the futures of our children. You would think we could get past all the petty bickering and work towards reasonable compromises. There is a middle ground if you're willing to find it and work hard enough to get there. Drawing a line in the sand or taking your ball and going home isn't going to fix things.

There is no middle ground any more.

We're at a fork in the road. To one side, less government, to the other. . .more government.

You can't compromise on that. The nation is nearly perfectly split in capitalism, and socialism.

Personally, I saw the country lean towards socialism and Bernie would have won if it weren't for the cheating, corrupt Hillary.

If voters would just abandon both stupid two parties...they might actually find common ground as independents. But they won't and nothing 'outside' them will ever cause them to unite.

No one should be looking to anyone/anything else to unite this country. It has to happen on an individual level. Drop the labels and divisive sides and find common ground. There's plenty to find.

Shhhh.

The aliens are trying to keep that whole invasion thing quiet for a while longer.

They think it will be easier to conquer us while we are dealing with the coming chaos of refugees from rising sea levels, and we've been weakened and riddled with cancer and birth defects from newly unregulated environmental toxins and mass strip mining of the former National Forests! So don't give away their secret plans, okay? The aliens have tremendous plans for us. The best plans.

Oh. Sorry OP. What was it you were saying? Unity? Yeah. Okay. Because the last eight years were so Kum-bah-yah with such beautiful, dare I say inspirational displays of cooperation as the right happily embraced their President Obama. Right???

This is America. Im sure we will just hug it out.

What was it Obama said in 2008?

Oh yeah, "Get over it, we won".

President Obama listened to Republican gripes about his stimulus package during a meeting with congressional leaders Friday morning - but he also left no doubt about who's in charge of these negotiations. "I won," Obama noted matter-of-factly, according to sources familiar with the conversation.

SO FAR, no-one has been able to explain to me how the hell 60+ million yanks could keep a secret this big - being contacted by Vlad personally to vote for Trump.

because the narrative appears to be that Vlad had that much influence.

How about this, lets kidnap Vlad and stick him in a Trump hotel to be monitored whilst everyone votes again?

No wait, I forgot about Gooseifer 2.76 and something else somewhere.

I'm enjoying this, immensely, even got my first ever T&C violation since joining - that's how much I'm enjoying this.

I think maybe we should dump the Democratic party. It seems to be acting irrational. Maybe many of the senators and representatives that are democrats can start a new party and abandon these troublemakers who have started to control some of their Democratic congressmen. This is all messed up, we should not be so polarized like we have become. There is a middle ground, we just have to congregrate there and get rid of radicals on both sides that say you are with us or against us. That is not a democratic way to do things.

True - and I am once again staunchly Independent. But, I will remain a registered Democrat so that I can vote in the primaries. *That* is where the real battles are won or lost....

The democrats have pretty much dumped themselves! No further dumping required.

At this point it's pretty much inconceivable to try to think up a more thorough and comprehensive way to implode themselves, to remove even the slightest molecule of legitimacy from the democratic party than what they have already done. They've completely erased their future.

In the future there won't be a "candidate" for the democratic party, there will only be the party. Bumper stickers will read "Democrat 2020" and "LOLz 2020". The debates (if there even are any) will be titled "John Q. (insert name)-R vs. Democrat-D". The democrats have proven beyond any shadow of a doubt they have absolutely zero credibility, zero trustworthiness and corruption beyond comprehension.

It's kind of sad really; sad that so many people in this country will be left with no representation. Sad that so many former democrats will not be able to identify with a party without fear of becoming laughing stock.

History truly was made in this past election cycle. The "establishment" was exposed like never before, and it has been mortally wounded. The people have seen that the establishment serves nothing but itself, and itself only, despite their promises otherwise. The evils of the globalist elite have been laid bare for all to see.

The democrats have completely and utterly self-destructed.

This sums it up :
Democratic donors call for Clinton campaign post-mortem

They paid in over 1 billion dollars to see Hillary elected. Quite probably in return for favors. Looks as if they are looking for someone's(or is it that supposed to be plural?) head on a silver platter so to speak. Nor buying Comey , Russians , or whoever the flavor of the day is did it.

That is too painful a truth to think about for any good Democrat.

Seeking outside forces to blame is much more comfortable.

It will eventually be accepted, but not for now.

They corrupted their party to ensure the candidate that could win was denied the chance.

A bitter pill to swallow.

How quickly we forgot that the founding Fathers already envisioned the strife between citizens becoming reality. How odd I find it that we prefer to eternally fight among ourselves than to just admit that the founders were smarter than we thought.
Return the states rights to self determination and the people rights to self rule...... thats all it takes. Stop letting the Federal Branch dictate laws to the states and many of the things that divide us will disappear. Some states will evolve into something that Bernie Sanders and the people who support him would like. Other states would evolve into something that pro life people would like.... and others into a conservatives dream.
The peoples of each state would be free to make the system that is right for them...... not right for someone 2000 miles away who probably could'nt find the other state if they were given a map....... and if one states methodology is seen as superior...it will become popular in other states.
But most importantly, people, all people..... will be free to look at 49 other states and determine for themselves where to call home. Where dwells "My kind of People".
