Correction: Constitutionally acknowledged individual rights cannot be superseded by States.

The federal government doesn't grant rights, it grants licenses, and those also by States, except States may acknowledge more rights, and these may disagree.

So federally recognized individual rights are trumped by states that don't recognize individual rights.

This California bill isn't overwriting any rights though.

Be a decent parent; make it your business to learn the best-practice parenting skills.

People who do that do not have any reason to worry.
Children are not "property" and they are not "objects." They need nurturing, and education, and socialization, and nutrition, and attention.

If the parent refuses (or is ill-equipped) to provide it, others will take notice and intervene. That is what civilized people do.
As they should.
End of story.

I am so glad that you don't make the rules for our society.

How much socializing is needed to deem the child "well equipped" do homeschooled children need to be taken away or how about nutrition who get to make that decision? Plenty of people force a vegan diet on their babies do you think they need to be taken away because we all know that a vegan diet for a baby is abuse or is it the parent that gives their baby a sweet treat that need to have their babies raised by the state?

Unless a child is mentally or physically abused I think you and those like you need to mind your own business and raise your own child.

End of story!
