Has the source of the Podesta emails ever been disclose?

Everyone is talking how the Russians hacked things. To my knowledge, no one has come up with any hard evidence of how or who broke the Podesta emails to Wikileaks. Now people are claiming the Russians did. Does anyone have any evidence of who did the leak? The latest I've head was a DNC IT employee told Podesta to reply to a lame "your emails have been hacked, send us your login info". That's hardly convincing to me.

Has anyone seen any real info on how it was hacked or leaked. I'm referring to the podesta emails not the DNC ones and not Clinton server

I noticed the original 'phishing scam' email is not among those released by wikileaks. Only the followup emails are in the archive. In fact, the version Podesta forwarded isn't in the archive either.

I am curious if the header info for the original phishing-scam email contains any info. But, alas, it is curiously missing from the leak archive.

not sure, but in all this time, NOBODY has denied they were, so there is that.

No one knows where the leaks came from, the only "evidence" it was Russia is that apparently (this is not confirmed) the Hackers ip was from Russia and that the "software" I have no idea how these experts know what software was used but apparently the software has been used by Russian Hackers in the past because there was Russian code within the software.

So I don't know even if that's true because if they can't tell us with proof who hacked or leaked the emails how can they tell us what software was used.

As for Julian he was out spoken about dnc staff member Seth rich but never confirmed if he was the leak or not.

So all in all no one knows. well besides who the leak was and Julian himself.

If we do look at the previous leaks and where they have come from the ones that we know about and have proof of where the leaks came from it has always been an inside source.

I have never heard of anybody claiming responsibility for the source of the leaks. What is important is what was leaked I believe.
The DNC and the Hillary people tried to hijack the party and got rid of Bernie Sanders. Now I'm no Socialist, but I would have voted for Bernie and hoped he surrounded himself with people who knew what they were doing. The people that wanted a Democrat for President shouldn't be mad at Trump, but the DNC. They are the ones who screwed everything up. The DNC is through as long as they keep these people in these top positions with no real agenda that helps the American people.
I'm a Democrat who voted for Trump and I'm switching parties after reading the Podesta and Clinton emails. I will now be an Independent and the DNC can just Kiss my behind. I'm sick of the crap.

I think you are referring to the Guicefer II hack of the DNC. Those emails show those traces. I have not heard the Podesta emails even remotely linked to Russian sources. Only Assange would know that and he has said they were "leaks" not hacks like Guicefer II.

If you visit the Wiki leaks site, most of the Podesta emails have been verified as being real and not edited.

I don't see any proof of his claims either........

The Russians: the Russian gov. or Russian hackers? The US amd Russian governments hack each other on a daily basis (the CIA has to do something with all these high paid agents). Weather or not they would leak it is another question.
A reasonable government would increase safety after these hacks. I remember when Merkel was hacked by the US (and whe was angry about that rightfully) some institutions got bacl to TYPEWRITERS (probably they are mothballed after the first wave of outrage). A friend of mine works for a public institution (nothing high secutity, simply a building institution) and no employee has internet access. There's only one central computer eith access to the net (it is probably a good thing to increase the output of the staff).

I think the word "counter-coup" would have been more accurate.

The DNC were Guicefer II, which may be Russian related. Podesta's wikileaks are not from Guicefer II. People always lump them together (intentionally? ).
