Pastor Screams " Santa does not exist " to kids

Ive seen many disturbing things in my life, but im not sure what to make of this. Especially when it its directed towards kids, in the same sort of manner a San Diego Catholic church implied Clinton is Satanic, say voting Democratic is a "mortal sin" and means hell.

What happens when one of the Pastors goes his own way, forget about his studies in Theology and Philosophy? One thing i had to learn in my studies, as a man of God you should lead by a good example not by an extremist view, you should teach humanity but not force a doctrine, you should teach people the way of making the right choice, not enforce a cultural subjective dogma.

I believe the man should be relieved of his position by the simple means that, he used to his own agenda. But its just my opinion

This isn't for him to decide..it's the parents decision on how to raise their children. At least that's what I think.

I guess this story is why it's not right to disillusion kids..maybe Santa is all they have..you dunno what the circumstances are of those children. It is not right to take away maybe that one thing that is keeping them happy in an otherwise sad and painfully hard life. I dunno..don't get the need to do that..just upsets me I guess..

Argh that man makes me angry!
If he is in fact a pastor, preaching somewhere, how would he like it if someone were to barge in and tell all the children that Jesus does not exist and that he should stop lying.
Who does he think he is?!
What ever does he want to accomplish?
If to win souls, he would only be pushing them away like this.

From what I understand, he's affiliated with the Westboro Baptist bunch.

All they want is attention and someone to take action against them so they can sue.

Best way to deal with such people is pay no attention to them. Don't feed the real life troll.

In my opinion, the man is technically correct about Santa and commercialism taking away from Jesus. He just chooses a way to spread that message which is in extremely poor taste.

This comment is so predictable and tired.

We don't stress Santa Claus in our house, but we don't shy away from him either. When the time comes, we'll all learn about St. Nicholas who is very likely the grain of truth behind the man in red.

One sad thing about Scandinavia, before we start our first day in School they will say and teach you, no Jesus, no santa, no muhammad, no easter bunny, no magic, nothing.. Buuuut, we have traditions, and they are important..

You can teach your children that if you want, but I'll stick with the humble man silently and anonymously making sure families in need had what they needed. Promotes better values if you ask me.
