We can only hope. I thought that he was just a shill for Hillary at the start of his campaign. The more I watched, and the more I paid attention, it became much more likely that he is the real deal. I went from full blown skeptic to full blown supporter.

I donated money, and I went to two rallies. They were a ton of fun. I have never seen the American People so energized and informed.

If you asked me when Bill was president if I thought people would be wearing Hillary For Prison shirts at a political rally, I would have laughed you out the door.

Reality is this:
Everyone who was so dead certain Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide...bringing the House & Senate along on her pantsuit tails...was living in an 'alternate' reality.

Not really...

Most of us who thought Hillary Clinton would win thought she would do so by getting more votes than her opponent.

What's her popular vote lead now? 2 million and counting? Thats alot of people.

And before you get all matter of fact on me. Yes I understand the popular vote doesn't win the election.

That's not the point.

The point is, us who thought Hillary was going to win thought so because it was obvious by the polls and the public that she would get more votes than Trump.. which she did..

So it's really not an alternate reality

Good luck with this thread. Though I see you used a few Trump supporter triggers (MSNBC source, Rachel Maddow, it's a poll, telling them their news is fake, etc) so I hope you brought your flame proof suit as there will be quite a few who will just see these things I listed and immediately get triggered about the whole thread.

You are confused...

Soft minded leftists are the ones who get triggered and require safe spaces with coloring books and therapy dogs…

Conservatives live in the real world where winners and losers exist…

In the case of the most recent election we are the winners and you are the losers…

-Chris

Thanks for proving my point.

PS: You have the wrong person. I'm not going to get suckered into some petty. "Nuh huh I know you are but what am I?"

You do when it's your own thread

I wonder if Maddow and company bought the results of these polls so they could spin something and stay relevant.

Looks like Reldra bought into it.

I have to commend you Reldra. I don't know how you still waste calories trying to reason with Trump supporters. They have clearly subscribed to the reality that Donald has created, and they will never release it.

Anyone who has been under the spell of a true cult personality will tell you you never break from the reality until something so outrageously careless happens. I am afraid Donald will have to effect his voters so much on a personal level that it wakes them up. Until then, he will be able to flip flop, and change positions and they will always defend him.

The cult follower will casually ignore anything which compromises the reality. Especially from those who are viewed as the 'other'. This is classic cult 101. I'm surprised no one has seen the patterns yet. I think what makes this more alarming though is the amount of people under the spell and also, the fact that Donald isn't even in the white house yet, and already he has altered the reality of his supporters to such a point that they will believe all news not in accordance with their cult leader's views, are either, shills, or fake news.

Every outlet that would provide balanced criticism of Donald has already been labeled as 'fake news', and this is literally the first tactic of a cult personality. To discredit their 'enemy' so that their subjects are easier to control and sway. Actually it is an abuse tactic used by narcissist as they begin the molding phase in their relationships.

Quite the show. And a Trump supporter right now will read this and will be so attached to the reality. Not only that, but attached to his ego and his beauty in 'knowing', that will deny everything in this post, even though the patterns are clearly there.

Blah, whatever. I'm just waiting now; because it is going to come. That 'I told you so' moment is coming.

The same could be ascribed to the other side, It's like you copy/pasted that from somewhere and just added trump supporter,

Actually no one trust MSM it's not limited to Trump supporters. And if you call the onslaught by the MSM what happened pre-election balanced criticism I might as well stop talking now.

And using vague and broad demographic representations proves nothing,

Nope, Trump supporters are on a whole new level of cultism. The left are whiny; I'll give you that....but the right took it to a new level.

have any examples of that? cause so far ive seen a vast amount of liberals/democrats freaking out, rioting, attacking each other, having mass breakdowns and requiring safe spaces, claiming multiple reason after reason as to why they lost, from it being drudge, to fox news, to russia, etc. tell me one incident that has even reached this level from the trump camp. and if u want to do a real apples to apples comparison then look at both of obamas wins for president. he is the epitome of what the right hates yet there werent any incidents anywhere near this level in those elections.

This is true... it's a not an alternative reality, it's a low information reality that thought the popular vote polls were important.
Those that now understand how wrong they were are more informed at last. However, those clinging to the popular vote are in an alternative reality, underpinned by denial and more polls feeding confirmation bias (like Maddow)

i wish more people understood how statistics and polls work. they are inherently biased and any professor who teaches on the subject will tell u to never believe a poll. look at how they used the data and where they got it from then make your own decision. those of us that actually looked at the poll data knew instantly how biased they were. when u read that 50%+ of polled people were democrats, 20-30% are republicans and the rest are independent or undecided, then of course its going to be leaning one way.

This site and Godlikeproductions site is proof of the rights' denial of reality. The scores of people interviewed on the street in countless interviews I have watched are clear examples.

The left can whine, they have that, but you guys take the cake when it comes to 'reality bending'. I have never seen it done to this degree since Jim Jones.

I'm not going to go back and forth with you to be honest. I would rather wait and see. But I never ignore patterns, and the patterns I see from the right are consistent with the patterns I have seen in cults.

Yes, any political party resembles a cult. That is indeed a problem, because if a cult has an idiot for their leader, what the idiot says goes. This is an even bigger problem in the US, as the American political system is not based on cooperation, it is a "winner takes all" system, so suddenly, even though at least half of the people strongly disagree with the idiot, he (or she) still gets his way.

Uh huh, OK. Let us just take your word for it. LOL

I see 30 pages of Trump supporters explaining how biased this poll was and 30 pages of liberals whining...it's true.
I have broken it down if you would like to find my post...otherwise.
Bless your heart.

NO it is a BALANCED powers government that the Trump fans have interrupted the taking over of this balanced system by treasonous means. Whereby mean spirited people from the left it appears, working for marxist principals and who appear to be seeking power to tell everyone what they can do are struggling with us to win our country and thus the western world. Causing the public to push back and elect an outsider of politics in the HOPE that he is NOT one of those a holes. Make the western world great again is the real battle cry. It is better for all mankind if we are allowed to live freely. Just as we have done since the American Revolution right. Your life, my life should be totally free of interference right up until we insist on harming others and that is the premise of Western Gov prior to the end of WWI.

The riots are most likely funded by Soros meaning all those 'liberals' rioting in the streets are doing it for money not because Trump won. Also, the idea that liberals are freaking out is a product of the media and higher up people making those comments not your average person, the average person that was against Trump has accepted and moved on from the fact that Trump won, they don't like it but they deal with it.

Liberals freaking out is a product of the media and Soros, not reality. It's a false narrative being pushed to divide people and cause animosity. They're instituting today's form of racism called political prejudice through the left/right paradigm. People are falling for it.

Obama's 50 percent approval is as real as 'Hillary is winning the election.' The reality of Obama was and has been destroying America, and I'm not sure he is finished. Under Obama the world lost stability and it was directly His and partly Hillary's fault...but the buck stops at the presidents o0ffice. And look the law watch dogs of our country let the abuse of presidential powers happen. I would say that is why Trump got elected. Government as usual meant jobs lost over seas, it meant political correctness going wild and affecting everyone even children in schools.
The last 8 years has made good look bad and bad called good and opinion called prejudice. I mean when a discussion and laws start circling around what bathroom a man should use and or a woman should use, our country itself is in real trouble; and it happened. The nut basket is calling the rest of us nuts...sorry the Democratic party, which I use to support, is gone. It is more like socialism then democracy and certainly well outside of prudence. And yes I know we have not operated under true democracy in our country, but it is the best system that ever graced our world sense the 1770's. We should seek to support its structure and the ideals proposed...rather then to fall back into systems which are oppressive and have never worked for the average man.

Lmao you proved this article right. Trump people don't care about facts and that really bothers me, because facts and science are how we make progress in this world. Not wishful thinking. But anywho...

1. The affordable care act is not gone in a few months, even if they repeal it immediately people who sign up for Obama-care will have it for at least a year after he leaves office. Because you know, suddenly taking away 40+ million people's health insurance can't and shouldn't be done in an instant.

2. No wall can stop the "hoardes of uneducated aliens" you moron, because they come by plane and boat legally and just stay in your country. You want to repeal obamacare because it costs too much money I presume, but then you want to build a massively useless wall that would cost taxpayers billions. Also side note: America has some of the worst Pre-college education among western nations. A bit hypocritical to assume the immigrants are uneducated.

3. America has no MASSIVE oil fields, Canada does. You do however have large deposits of natural gas. Not the same thing. In America it is much harder to get to the natural gas especially without messing with underground water. Dismantling the EPA is retarded because they make sure your rivers and lakes are clean but whatever. The EPA isn't some leftist organization, the republicans created the EPA. It was built with bipartisan support to answer the growing concern people had for the environment.

"I live in a world where Trump won the election with 306 electoral votes" you say that like it was a landslide lol. You Americans don't even read your own history. It was one of the closest elections in American history(like 48th out of 54) and the 2nd time in 16 years that the popular vote doesn't win the election. Both republicans and democrats lie everyday. But they used to be more tactful about it, now republicans just lie en masse to the point people believe them because they heard it so many times. Politifacts probably has a comprehensive list of lies from both sides. Voter fraud and global warming are some big lies they like to float around.

This. This is how you change someones mind. By referring to them as "you moron" as in the second paragraph of this person's response. And the points you make are ignorant of Trump's policies including, but certainly not limited to the issues of Obamacare and the Wall.

Frankly you seem a bit upset that Donald J. Trump is about to be president of these United States and are a perfect example of why we prefer not to deal with the left. Lack of facts and a promise of insult.
