I believe this is the legislation related
to protecting against CME/EMP vulnerabilities.

Good to see some positive planning in the works.

www.congress.gov...

Judge Jannine Pirro
did her best to bring this issue
to "light". I might add.

Pun intended.

Oddly, I saw some newscast of it last night,
but now I cannot seem to find any mention of it.?

I guess it is swamped by all the propaganda.

Its still out there.
This should have been a major concern since the advent of nuclear weapons. What happened ? Why start 50-60 years into it ?
It would only take 1 to completely debilitate a country.

This, along with a national civil defense 1 year supply of food for the entire country, would be a good first step.

Wondering if it includes Texas since it is not part of the national grid. Texas has their own and is separate from the national grid.

This has been pushed pretty good on Coast to Coast. Glad to see it get some traction in Congress!

Really? I did not know that, and lived in Texas my whole life. Learned something new today. Actually second thing today. First was about usb e-licenses.

Hmmm. they are going to spend a lot of money to protect the grid from cyber security issues. Couldn't they just isolate the plant from the internet and control it exclusively from the site? That would be a lot cheaper and secure, how can someone hack into something that isn't even on line.

Here is a thought. BURY ALL POWER LINES And or COAT THEM WITH A ANTI EMP Coating/sheath. Burying lines also prevents them from being knocked down by trees. IN places where its too dangerous to bury them reinforce them.

Yes,
but as a matter of fact,
our humble community here
at ATS was influential in
this matter.

Important people are watching.

So , keep up the good behavior
and intellect.

Well then my friends
deep in the heart of Texas
need not be concerned.

At least that is what Enron told them.

I think they trust me more.
In fact, I know so.

Still Waters Run Deep.
Never underestimate the potential
of the ATS "think tank".

Careful as you wade the surf.
