Trump sold a vision and now he will perform to make everything he promised happen. He's got a phone and is making calls, and jobs are being saved, yet he will not be president for another 44 days. He has done more that Obama did in 8 years.

Keep showing that picture though! Can't get enough of that thing! Here's one that I'm going to post every time I see it:

********** FAKE NEWS **********

That's not perfect either but it's a closer representation of the make up of the vote.

REAL NEWS

I want to know why there is such a drastic difference in large cites vs rural and small cities or towns.

Could be values and moral fortitude, or lack thereof...

I come from a predominately white, rural town, with a fair representation of Blacks and Hispanics, and a sprinkle of the majority of the other minorities. We have a small amount of racist bigots, got a few in every bucket, but all in all we are made up of a lot of good neighborly people.

Almost all that I spoke to were fed up the the present government and saw Hillary as a continuation of a rogue, corrupt government. None that I spoke with, where excited about Trump being President.

Like #whyamIhere commented. Trump won because he wasn't Hillary.

More accurately, Hillary ran a horrible campaign while Trump actually ran a pretty good one. Trump basically took the product marketing approach, which was to secure any and all publicity. He utterly dominated the news cycle the entire time by acting over the top so he would make headlines.

Hillary on the other hand, barely got mentioned outside of scandals. To hide from not being liked, she simply didn't get her name out there and expose herself further.

I am puzzled as to why you think Trump is a less honest and believable candidate than Hillary who is a known and proven liar...could it be a personal prejudice?

I think yours may be one of the best presentations of why Trump win to grace these boards.

There was just 'something unacceptable' when it came to Hillary. Yes ... she was a bold-faced liar. But, I think there was some subliminal fear produced in the 'hearts' of Democrats through the continuos crescendo of lies flowing out of the MSM.

I wish one of the Great Thread Writers of ATS would take that up and document it. I'd hope they'd start with how all the poll numbers reported in the lead-up to the election were brazenly faked.

I've recently looked hoping to find some definitive source nailing this down while it's fresh in our memories. Alas. Maybe here at ATS. If only I had the skill.

The Other Reason that Helped Mr. Trump Win is He Smells Nice . Hillary On the Other Hand Reeks in More Ways that One......

Not much different from 2012 geographically where the votes were so that must mean the Democrat blights on the map turned out weaker and the Republican patriotic body turned out stronger.

The Kennedy Stronghold region changed dramatically though, al lot less dem counties by comparing the maps.

He hasn't done anything.

Just like when he was campaigning.

He said a Lot - - - of nothing.

Elliott County, Kentucky

The voters in Elliott county are not racist, they voted for Obama twice.
The funny thing was, it was not even close. All those democrats abandoned Hillary and the democratic party in unprecedented numbers.

It's not the kind of big county that will swing elections. There are just 4,581 registered Democrats in Elliott County. They far outnumber the 429 registered Republicans. They are either the greatest political anomaly in the country, or they value tradition so much that they resisted the countless generational and political shifts of the 147 years since the county's founding.
Never mind all of that — they voted for Donald Trump 70%-26%.

they voted for him because Hillary sucked as a candidate, and the internet called her a murder for several years and because Trump is a great bull$h$H artist. I would bet money that America would take back its vote if it were held again tomorrow.
Just the reversal on Medicare alone would turn the tides on him
, let alone the social security plans...

Its funny, but I dont think Trump voters realize how #ed we are now. The rich and the corporations are gonna go hole hog #@!$!#@$ tax payers/consumers. Lower wages, income, destroy the environment wholesale, sell the national parks and I bet Russian territory will grow a great deal at least...

Yeah it was noted many times before that less democrats voted this time around (or didn't vote for the democratic party).

There are graphs showing the amount of Democrats who voted last election and this election. Trump won because democrats didn't vote for Hillary.

Maybe someone else can dig up the thread I'm about to butcher the OP from, but dude said it perfectly....

It's not about lib/conserv
It's not about Trump vs Hillary
This election wasn't about the 5% difference between red and blue concerning gay stuff, abortion, immigration... you know all the divisive garbage issues
2016 wasnt about racists or socialists or lgbtq+ or the kkk or any of the blown-out-of-proportion ideologies.

What happened on election day was;
Globalism VS Nationalism
Social engineering VS freethinking
UN Agenda 21 urban zombies VS rural 'get off my land' self sufficiency

It's all about the apparently critical mass of people that have ACTUALLY WOKEN UP.
It's like all of the sudden a large enough percentage of people in America started asking a large enough percentage of the question we here on ATS have been asking for decades.

It was an actual blow the common people landed against whatever Goliath, real or in essence, has been and is trying to rule the Earth...

That is what some people think it was about. But the GOP hardly represent those things as they engineer the barriers for globalism through deregulatory schemes that let globalists expand like all the US globalist companies have.

This was a case of manipulating scared and ignorant people into think a billionaire with a gold toilet is going to be a populist.

Crime Map For The US November 2013

that's am image. Where is the Government source for this map? I doubt the government releases a map in red and blue and
uses the metrics

LOWER CRIMES RATES
HIGHER CRIME RATES

and colors those blue and red, just like an election map.
