Peoples definition of "mainstream media," seems to fluctuate and be pretty malleable depending on the context of the content.

In my opinion this is citing MSM to discredit MSM.

It's ironic as Hell.

I could care less who says what.

I'll offer an opinion on it regardless.

It's the weak cowardly fascists who want to ban/curtail free speech that irritate me.

And they call it "fake news" like it'll be okay to censor.

pfft.

Nazi losers.

Wow.

That's fantastic to know. Everyone I know watches & is brainwashed by MSNBC.

Please share more mindless sh*t with us when you're free again.

True, I didn't even know who she was, but I easily found she apologized about 6 hours ago, probably a few hours after she said it.

Oldest media propaganda trick in the book... push out fake news and then retract it later after the damage is done.

Ah but that 2 hours is enough to make millions of people believe it anyway.

That's how they plan things like this.

Xu are planning on starting a right wing media matters site?

Kind of like what OP did with leaving out parts of the "story," to fit their narrative?

But instead of attempting to retract or rephrase anything just rolls with it anyway?

Lol.

Completely. My thoughts exactly when I heard Trump talking about opening up libel laws to sue opinions he doesn't agree with.

Except it wasn't news.
There was no segment.
There was no hourly time slot.

It was an off the cuff remark during debate.
And it was wrong.

To be honest I don't know why you losers think people give a sh*t where Fox has their dinners.

This is a trash thread.
& anyone who validates it is trash as well.

2 hours later? I had never heard of this until this thread. It was not news or a news alert.

If anything, the OP has pushed this remark for a wider audience. Ironic, ya?

Yep. Trump wants to sue or remove satire that makes him feel bad.

So , putting something out there without any FACT CHECKING at all then apologizing later makes it ok?

So you are so perfect, that an apology is not good enough for you. At some point you will realize that many of us do not worship your messiah as you do.

Better than lying 2 dozen times and not apologising.

Like Xuenchen.

There is a very important difference between this thread author and Stephanie Ruhle. Ms. Stephanie Ruhle is a paid news journalist, and therefor,e has a responsibility to vet her sources and only convey accurate news stories. The thread author is a nondescript entity on a rural side road of the Internet.

One is a professional journalist, with a mainstream news outlet as a medium for her words.
One is nobody in particular, and anonymous, with a limited medium for their thoughts.
One must apologize when called out in a falsehood to save their job.
One has nothing to lose by spreading a falsehood, and can continue in their career with no worry of retribution.

They are not equal.
They do not have to play by the same rules.
They are apples and oranges. And sounds to me like the MSNBC apple has a few worms in it too.

Who is lying 2 dozen times ?
And why is this like a member posting ?
Proof ? Source ? Anything ?
Put up or shut up
No , just like the "journalist" spouting feces out the wrong hole , you cant back it up
BTW , I first read the title of this thread. I went , wait , Fox news is nowhere near having their Christmas Party , Why is the title in past tense ?

You do realize, that those that lost their minds when Obama was elected, will have their feet held to the fire. Obama has never threatened to sue those that said something bad about him, your orange messiah has. Face it, the next 4 years are going to be real interesting.

Wait, this crap is EXACTLY the kind of crap that our left leaning members try to push as the definition of 'fake news'.

But, somehow, you guys can come in and justify this

Color me surprised
