Don't be sad celebrate his life , 95 is a fine old age and when you've spent those 95 years as John Glenn I don't think there's any reason to complain.
He's a legend , a name synonymous with space travel who will be remembered by generations to come.

Rest in Peace Mr Glenn , happy final journey.

Well said.

Absolutely!

Celebrate his life, and the incredible legacy of courage at the edge of technology both in war and in peace, that he leaves behind.

Given what he was privileged to be allowed to do that we no longer allow our own to even think to attempt ... He was one of the few who truly lived and went where no had gone before and where we may never be allowed to stand again.

A true giant.

RIP.

Didn't he just get airlifted out of Antarctica?

Godspeed Mr. Glenn!

You broke barriers that kept the entire human race down and every person alive on this earth owes you a debt of gratitude.

Yes indeed. John Glenn was a MASTER EXPLORER right to the very end. He only left his Antarctica duties when his declining health forced him to, this past weekend.

The determination, bravery and optimism of John Glenn impressed itself upon Americans in a good way. Those traits are what gave us the guts to take a chance on a new type of American leadership 30 days ago, on November 8th. No GUTS, No GLORY!

That was Buzz Aldrin. He's getting up in years, too.

RIP, Mr. Glenn. You left a big beautiful mark on human history.

RIP. For those interested, dig up post-landing life of Neil Armstrong. He was a stand up guy. Refused to get entangled in the MIC selling of cold war space program. Just retreated.

Supposedly, this is an unconfirmed rumour from those close to him (allegedly), he saw bases inside a crater in the moon and the fact that it was 100% censored from the public, upset him deeply.

The last true eye-witnesses are almost all gone....
